I don't tend to try and 100% games but damn I've given it a good try with this one, my favourite in the genre!

This game within the surging genre I think sits in a unique place that's worth playing if you want a more challenging take that's also got a slower burn on progress. The happy chemicals of exploding a few hundred things every second doesn't happen immediately (though I can see how to get there), but I've found the unlocking systems in place rewarding enough to want to keep going.

Fantastic sound and level design, a storyline that connects the Alien franchise and fun gameplay, all held together by that good jank. By far my favourite multiplayer game that came out this year.

Good fun, E.Y.E. but 40k and more polished. Really makes you learn the different systems to thrive, the art team deserve an award for the atmosphere and environments, still some of that good jank between movement through intricate environments and enemy AI. Just a good time.

I was hoping to nominate this game for Better With Friends but Labour of Love will do because hot damn they have handled the sudden success incredibly well, love this game.

Simple in idea, wonderful in execution, ridiculous in replayability. The game is updated every now and then with whole new factions and secret units which, combined with custom levels and many ways to combine units tactically there's a lot of game here that can be played for 5 minutes or 5 hours.

Game of the Year nominations are typically ridiculously brilliant but this game is brilliantly ridiculous, 10/10 I have far too much fun launching gorillas through walls to create doorways into SAW-like death traps so I can punch a power generator to death.

It's fine

I was surprised how much there was to do as a F2P, I could easily put in about that of a typical single player game time in running solo story content from planet to planet before touching the multiplayer. Stable servers, updates, easy access. Good game.
