too much monetization/dlc. UI is bad. Puzzles are bad.

Visual design is cool, class mechanics is good and gunplay is great

9.8/10
(-.2 for the non-game breaking bugs)

This is a magnus opus, the Half-Life 1 of our generation.

Under the hood this game is basically a love-child of Deus Ex, GTA-V, some APB aesthetics and a BEAUTIFUL return to Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines style storytelling.

Gameplay is phenomenal, the storyline is absolutely top shelf and the environment is triple A. Furthermore playing this on an RTX system with 64gb of ram is an absolute delight- the ray tracing is fantastic and the 4k definitions are breath taking.

The bugs, which are undeniably there, are usually not game breaking in nature (once or twice I lost out of some mob-drops because of corpse bugging). Occasionally you see inconsequential NPCs phase in and out. Some of the visual settings can use tweaking (ex: you always see cars in the distance on highways, but if you're in a sparesly populated area, the cars simply disappear as you close in). Alot of the Inconsequential NPC behavior isn't polished as it could have been (everyone has these empty stares if you really stop to look at them, there's not real random encounters with npcs- which again is only a negation in the quality of inconsquential NPCs not of core gameplay)

Clearly using budget hardware to play this game is going to result in a sub-par experience, but if you've got the hardware to run it- this game is absofruitly worth the investment.

Myself and all my buds sat down to play CP2077 and immediately lost 19h to it. Immersive is an understatement.
