I played this game when I got it with the orange box. So sad to see valve doesn't give an S about what with the bots problem. Will change review if they fix it.

Creative Assembly actually charges money for this. Thanks for not doing that.

The helicopter is not hard. Try hitting it with the damn sword, and jump in the air to dodge those missiles before you leave your negative review.

This is less a review, and more of an advice piece. Don't try to build a clan sized base as as your first base as two, and a half people with jobs in a pvp focused survival game if you plan on surviving in the survival game. If you can't accept the fact that you're gonna get raided at some point, and lose loot don't play this game. Life isn't fair, and neither should survival to an extent. Look up guides, and start with weekly small pop servers. In order to do well at this game it'll take a lot of attempts before you get anywhere. Make your own goals, since the game doesn't give you any. Whether your wipe was a victory/fun, or not is entirely up to you. Pick a solo/duo/trio server if you absolutely can't stand large clans.

This has to stop, and already getting it if you owned it in warhammer 1, or 2, doesn't make it acceptable.

To be continued if CA keeps releasing updates that are as good as Thrones of Decay. Current feelings cautiously optimistic for the game's future.

7/10. Put more effort into making a good game rather than going member symphony of the night! member dawn of sorrow! member order of ecclesia! member member member. The 2.5D graphics are bad and the ost is mediocre also. Should've stuck with 2d graphics.

Easy GOTY. Best combat of any FromSoftware game. Only prob is due to the increased mobility/grappling hook the levels don't have the same tension that their older games used to have.

It's a good game but not for 20 dollars. 10 bucks it's well worth it though. There's obviously a huge amount of cut content and you can feel it in all areas of the game. There's only 1 of each weapon type. Two or three different kinds of bows. The giant bosses shown in the trailers end up being killed by poking them in the foot rather than climbing on them and fighting them. The hookshot never made it into the game. The first area has gameplay concepts that aren't used in any other level. And it's more sprawly and longer than most other places. The pacing is messed up due to all the bosses they jammed into the first half of the game. I could go on but you probably get the point at this point.

Update for Afterlife
The new additions, like double jump, crash down for breaking through specific floor spots, dash, and rearranging of the areas have fixed the terrible pacing of the original game. I still wish they made certain areas from the base game longer, but it all flows much more smoothly. You'll never walk into like 4-5 different bosses like you could before the Afterlife update. This game also adds enough loot that exploration, and defeating the bosses is more fulfilling. The smartest thing about it though is that it's also essentially a sequel to the last game, continues the plot, and fleshes out the world, and its characters more. It's not just a gameplay update. I won't be more specific than that due to spoilers.

This is quite possibly the greatest SHMUP on steam and has former BYOB moderator and current admin of badgame.net Danbo Daxter seal or SHMUP of approval. GOTY
