At this point in time, I can't recommend the game.

The game seems fantastic and has a lot of promise but is riddled with bugs and genuine issues that stop me from enjoying it.

I've been barred from recruiting an early party member twice now. I restarted the game in order to fix the issue but it happened again. Third try he joined my party no issue, despite me doing nothing different.

The saving system is absolutely horrible aswell. Exploration is punished as if you die you are sent back to the last time you saved in your room. Not terrible, but when you have to spend 7 minutes round trip to run back and save just because you don't want to repeat 3 combats it gets really annoying. I've lost 15+ minutes of progress multiple times because I ran into a drastically more difficult encounter than others in the area.

Fix the game and it's great.

Gameplay is great, solid 8/10 fun.

Story is like a 4/10

Characters are uh... 2/10 tops


If you're looking for a compelling story with characters you'll get invested in and an ending which will leave you feeling fulfilled, then look somewhere else. It's certainly not here.

If you're looking for something decently fun without caring at all about the story, it's not bad.

Don't expect anything crazy here. It's nothing new and is the kind of story you'll completely forget about.

You need to play this game. If the combat style looks even remotely interesting to you, play this game. I had no idea I even liked this style of game prior to owning this game, but I can't stop playing it. There is countless amounts of replay-ability, secretes, unlocks, and side quests to keep you coming back.

Buy the game. You'll never regret it.
