Overall I prefer the game over the firs BTD Battles. It is quite fun, the new tower skills are quite fun and the new bloons are challenging, but there are a few problems. Leveling is a pain in the asss, Heros are somewhat useless, some towers have actual use because of their prize and receive almost nothing if you don't have VIP(which is an ingame purchase).
