Good digital implementation of the board game but I can't in all good conscience recommend this game because of how unbelievably buggy the online play is. It used to play pretty flawlessly but since the most recent updates it has become unplayable. These issues are also being experienced by my friend who is trying to play the game (either with me or with another player online). Some of the issues I have faced are:

Ratings all over the place. Dropped from 1628 to 159 and then down to 1 in a matter of games
Games sometimes don't register a player's turn. Sometimes a restart will fix but often not
Games randomly seem to drop me out and show both players as my opponent (even though sometimes I can seemingly take a turn)
Games crashing when trying to take an ingredient because although I have already taken my turn, the game seems to think its still my turn
Games sometimes disappear and then reappear randomly
Game crashes to desktop whilst waiting for an opponent. Load back in to find the game back at the start but unable to take another turn
Some games require me to play the same turn two or three times before it registers and advances the game
Some games glitch and seemingly allow me to take a turn for my opponent using their potions
Avatars sometimes get switched around
Players seemingly dropped and then I am faced with an error to say bots are not working for online play
Played a few turns. Returned to the menu only for the game to have disappeared. It briefly returns with both slots apparently occupied by the other player. I take the same turn three times. Game then disappears for good
Timers either not appearing, resetting or not counting down properly causing games to time-out

These issues manifest regardless of whether I try to play a game in one sitting or I come back another time (which happens a lot as I fruitlessly try to restart the game in an attempt to get anything to work)

There is no chat function so you can't even let your opponent know what is going on, nor is there any kind of game log to see if the broken games have been marked as wins or losses.

The frankly bewildering array of bugs and glitches since the recent updates are so immensely frustrating as otherwise the game is a very solid adaptation. The single player is OK but even the hardest AI isn't much of a challenge. I read elsewhere than the Fifth Ingredient DLC is broken but I am just using the base game!

There seems to be no obvious support for the game on the forums or help available online. If you like the game and actually want to play online, don't bother. The hassle is probably not worth it...

Infuriating in the most delightful way

Life Is Strange is possibly one of the greatest games I have ever played. Never before have I found the decisions you make in a game have such massive consequences (not like the end of Mass Effect...)

There is usually no obvious option which is a real skill for a game to pull off. I find myself getting very emotionally invested in the story and the characters which for me is a such sign of a good game!

The graphics are not mind-blowing but the graphic style really suits the concept of the game.

The game balances the moments of real hard decision making with the beautiful moments of serenity and introspective thought.

The soundtrack is simply divine and truly captures the potency of the important moments as well as providing the most natural of backdrops for the game in general.

The dialogue does sometimes feel just a little unnatural but certain not so as to ruin the game.

When I first saw the game on Steam back in February I was instantly intrigued. It took me until May to play it as I had a feeling I would be drawn in to the game too much for my own good.

I was right.

This game is, with out a doubt, the best game I have played all year. The main reason for this being that certain games really get inside my head and indeed my heart because of the immersive storylines. Generally, games that really have a good story are the ones that leave me lying in bed both trying to unravel the complex plot as well as wanting to know more about the universe that the game sits in.

Personally, I very much enjoyed having Elizabeth as a companion both from a gameplay and a story point of view. I also love the world that the game is set in, I think the combat system is good fun and the flow of the game overall is excellent.

I found this to be far better than the previous Bioshock games (controversial some might say). I found them to be too dark and depressing being stuck under the sea. This game offers all the same excellent mechanics and story but in a much more accesible location.

I loved this game and I didnt the previous ones, but I would be fairly sure that fans of the series so far would not be disappointed. Personally, I love storylines and cutscenes in games so for me the excellent story really set this game apart!

Like a cartoon cousin to GTA. Its hilarious and down-right stupid at times but that is what makes it a great game. A little more serious than Saints Row II but in some ways more extreme!

It cartoony, graphic, silly and a great laugh!

It also has co-op which is ACE!

All the best aspects of tower defense with up to glorious 4-player co-op!

So much fun and so much playability. Better than any other tower defense game I have played before you even get to the FPS aspect!

A great game with awesome playability for friends (and you can Rocket-Jump with the Rex Launcher!!!)

Perhaps best described as a more relaxed and thoughtful version of GalCon Fusion. The graphics are simple yet engaging. The gameplay is ever-expanding as the main story progresses.

All it needs now is multiplayer (which sadly looks unlikely)
