Writing this after beating the game in hard difficulty and i have nothing but good things to say about this game which are:
-Great combat. Very fluid great dodging, parring feels great, and probably the best thing is the kick + the environment make for Dark Messiah of Might and Magic on steroids experience.
-Good art direction, they absolutely knew what the style of the game was and nailed it, although very idealized and a bit generic it is still very good and cohesive.
-Excellent voice acting, me being Spanish i thought i would cringe a lot but it really is perfect.
-Good level design, the combat absolutely relies on the arenas for it to really shine and they are good giving you all the tools needed to fight every opponent however you want, although there is a bit of parkour it might as well not be there, its very scripted and more of a segway into the next fight which is not bad at all, i'm glad the devs didn't spend too many resources on doing some mid parkour and put all their eggs into the combat and feel.
-Lastly my only complaint here really is the amount of play hours, its completely reasonable specially for the price but you cant just give me this extremely fun game and it be short, although there is replayability with the challenges and the arena mode, but one thing that could have been even better would be an extra difficulty after hard where you have same health but maybe more enemies or a new game +, if they added that this game would go from a 8 to a 10 easy. fair to say with the price it has its worth every single cent.

You might see only 2h played but i used to play this back on the day a lot im just revisiting it, and i have to say tho it sounds pretentious af this game changed my perspective of what a game could be and what music means and thus it changed my life since the day i played it back in 2015.

Life was pretty boring until one day i decided to buy ULTRAKILL. Now the pain is unbearable as my hearing is gone and my eyes bleed, but that is good because BLOOD IS FUEL.

Honestly man just buy it, you cant be disapointed, i feel like everything in this game is done right the combat the levels the dialogue the plot.

Some of the best soundtrack beautifull level design aweasome movement everything feels super is fluid mindblowing atmosphere what can i say 10/10 nutted in every level

This game easly (at least for me big souls like fan): 7.5/10 kept me hooked up on it and its good to have this feeling again of exploring and not knowing what the ♥♥♥♥ is going on or what you will encounter next, i really think its an underrated gem.



The good:

-Good graphics, and art direction

-Satisfying gamplay

-Good hitbox

-Good enemies and variation

-Overall good bossfights (some are better than other but pretty good)

-Good sound design

-Quest tab, saves lives


The neutral:

-The combat mechanics are good but id like something like a running attack

-Inventory management and quality of life, you can only hold 10 of each consum
able, and you dont have a way to store away your weapons or consumables basically what you have on is what you have

-The sanity mechanic is alright but i find it lacking

-The only consecuence of dying is having to get back where you where

-The map design is sometimes wierd and you can get easly lost specially when backtracking wich you have to


The bad:

-No intro skip button for bosses, honestly please

-When fast traveling id like to have a picture or something to know where the heck im going since some of the names are wierd and you only know where you are when entering the area

-Consumables re for the most part useless the buffs expire very fast so buffing and going into the boss is good for the first 30 seconds or so (you get a way to make those buffs last longer but id say it aint worth it)

-Your toolbelt only gets 4 slots so taking out the main heal and bullets you are down to 2 wich is pretty bad specially considering you have a lot of diferent effects that might come in handy for at least the 10 seconds they last

Si lo juegas por la historia vas mal no esta mal pero la "chicha" aquí está en el gameplay sinceramente un juegazo lo único que te tienes que comer todos los creditos al final para desbloquear el último desafío y la dificultad extrema y no los puedes pasar o por lo menos yo no podía pese a eso el juego es la hostia
