Early Access Review
If you liked Old School Runescape.... you will like bitcraft. The level grind is just like that.. the map is huge. The game runs surprisingly well with the size of the map and all the players running around.

I am still very early in, but I am enjoying it so far!

I think I have played enough of this to give this review of the MOST glitched out, terrible work of a game I own!

And its not a overly bad thing.

Honestly I actually had a really good time with this game. No sarcasm in that statement, I literally enjoyed this game, Why? Cause it was pretty funny!, It was a good chuckle. I wouldn't ever pay full price for this game, but I had fun when I wanted to blow off some steam.

You have current oldschool runescape graphics (better then when I first bought the game though!!), and you hop around, pressing space bar to fly, burning up some glitchy towns, and then you sometimes get to drag people and cows all over the place and eat em up to gain xp. AND THEN the greatest event when you phase into an other dimention under the map... like you literally fly through the earth or mountains and then fly under the map... I'm just warning people.

1. This game is a VERY slow work in progress, but they are updating a little by little.

2. If buying the game, you have been warned that this is a Horribly glitchy, Not finished, work in progress....... This is basically like buying the game as they work on it.

3. But if you do get this game and don't take it seriously and just wanna go around destroying s**t and doing some little quests that you can choose to ignore. I highly recommend. One you caught on to it, its pretty enjoyable trying to master broken controls and glitches. Like "YES take that game! I did it!"

And who knows, you could be able to get this cheap now only to have once kick ass dragon game in the future.

So yeah, just stating that its Early access right now. And the video of the game for the stream pre-view is not very accurate.

Its a reality check film. Made to make you feel something for the fish that go through this sort of life. This is nothing like finding nemo.
If you want something different from the normal American films, you found something.

See I have a hard time saying if I recommend the game. So far no... I do not. In every online game I have played it has only been with AI computers, and because of that its a bit disapointing. It would be better if you could join a server with several people on it, but alas all who is on is just a computer.

This game is amazing... its a story based game with options to choose and each option you choose comes with consequences. Will you make the right choices? god knows but you gotta try to get all evidence that you can. I highly recommend this game!

This game is amazing. It keeps you on your toes, the graphics are beautiful... the creatures you discover are deadly sometimes. I was honored to play through it as they developed the game and really hope later on that Multiplayer might be an option though.

Ill never forget my experience with one creature... "what the f*** is that?".... I say as it spreads out its arms wide and I come face to face. Then I end up back in my craft. "WHAT THE HELL!?.... How did I die?!".... yeah... unknown creatures can be a b**ch like that lmao.

Early Access Review
This game is in early access, because it keeps adding new features every couple of months to actually improve the gameplay. Its a turn base survival game and you have to pay attention to genetics and creature abilities to create the strongest pack of animals.
You make sure that not only your pack is strong, but able to survive... as you have Carnivores/Birds of Prey waiting for you to make a slip up in security, and the constant worry of having enough food for all members in your pack, and of course avoiding illnesses, drowning and getting hurt.

all in all, I would currently rate this game a 9/10 easy. I am waiting for more updates to see what kind of bioms and features they add next.
Please be warned that every time they launch a new update you must start from the beginning and create a new pack. Hence it being in early access. its not that big of an issue though as the game maps and pack members change each time around. No pack will ever be the same.

If you like a challenge, Animals, Survival games, and have an interest in science... this game is so for you.
Buy it!!... Right now.

Okay. I have been playing this game recently (And daily) Now that I have a decent PC to run this game on. Yes you do need an intense graphics card for this game.

Pros:
-Beautiful world
-Get to interact with dinos (and be mauled by them time and time again)
-Though infuriating to do, you can build amazing structures!
-You can change settings to make the game customised to your needs (recommended, Basic settings make this game hard)
-Taming is enjoyable to do and the benefits of each type of Dino make the game interesting
-This is 100% a survival game, and they have fixed the game up pretty decently.

Cons
- The start of the game is the hardest for you. Unlike most games as it gets more difficult, this game does to an extent, but when you spawn in, you have nothing and carnavores can eat your face easy! You will die a million times over if you don't keep your distance or know what your dealing with.
-Still has glitches!, Alpha Raptors get stuck on their kill (Not complaining to much lol) as do Troodons (Troodons also swim in circles if in water), If you slip into places that you can't get out of you could be perminatly suck and need to restart your character. And I have been stuck up in the air on my flying mount for a good five minutes until it ejected me randomly and I fell to my death.... So theres that.
- Building in the game is frustrating and you waste a lot of materials building due to destroying and rebuilding constantly to achieve the look you want. If you are a box person please ignore lol.
- Dino's glitch out every so often, sometimes to your benefit, other times its just sad or funny. Harvesting Compy's can be a real pain!

I recommend this game to the Dinosaur fans and the survivalists alike and People who like building structures with a challenge!
Those who are expecting a prestine interface are asked to ignore the game, you won't find anything to impress you if your standards are set high.

Hints for new players:

- Change the settings before you jump in game. Put taming as high as it can go, taming can take hours!, And I would boost the XP gain just slightly. If a Builder, Resource harvesting should be boosted too! Not to much, just slightly. Don't wanna break the game (also if you set it to high you could accidently harvest to much and because your to weighed down you become an easy snack for something nearby)
- Tame a Dilo as soon as possible, Those spitting dinos are great to send at enemies when you need a distraction to get away from something that could kill you. Better them then you. (they are also protection when harvesting resources, think of them as guard dogs)
- Put your Skill points into Weight and build a shelter pronto (providing you first find a place that is decent) Health and moving speed are also good. and if you get to hot or cold really fast fortitude can help! Melee damage is alright, but your gonna be dealing more with bows and guns later anyways. Its really only good for the start, so I hardly bother with it... at most I put a few points in there once my weight situation is mostly settled.
- Do a few test runs on single player and learn whats going on first before jumping online!, Seriously!, the people on the servers are not always helpful and if your in a PVP server... good luck(*cough* "your doomed" *cough*). If learning the game for the first time, play by yourself for a bit... Learn what Dinos are hostile and passive, learn what they can do... tinker with the building and recipes. This game has a ton to do, but if you learn the basics first it helps. In single player you can Pause the game to look up commands if your in a hostile situation..... You do not have this advantage on a server, servers do not pause, they run in real time.
- No matter how frustated you are by dying, it is best to stick with the same character that you have been working on. Sometimes when I first started I would rage because I lost all my stuff and try as I might I would die each time I would try to retrieve my stuff..... Instead of sucking it up and just building all new stuff (cause you still keep your lvl and engram points when you die)..... I restarted my character out of rage and had to re-level everything all over again. This could be just me, but lets see how you fair XD.

Thats all I will say for now.... you can look up more on youtube, there are TONS of videos on ark on how to do things. If you don't want to many spoilers, buy the game, start it up and play!

I have an absolute love hate relationship with this game!.... I play and die, play and die... loose all progress I ever made and go well frig!.... Better go back in to try again.

First time I could barely survive 3 days with no clue what was going on.
Second time I was able to live to 8 days....
After studying the game I am now able to live for 17 days!
And I am still trying to live longer!!

If you like Survival games, and have enjoyed Minecraft in the past... Well Here is Don't starve... 10 thousand times harder then Minecraft and when you die, you die. Unless you find a resurection stone, which there are only 2 to find. So 3 lives if you will. You could have the best camp set up and die and loose it all.... Frustrating yes, but challenging and fun if you are a determined soul, which I am and I vow to Conquer this game and live to at LEAST day 100 or more.
There is a guy that supposedly lived to day 1000!! I NEED TO DO THAT RAWR!

SO yes, I bloody recommend this EVIL AMUSING GAME!
