While i do recommend the game , i recommend coming in with friends. I've hit a quest where i have to cross under a bridge. This bridge is a choke point and gets camped frequently. Ended up just ignoring the quests and the game devolved into a more arcade-y tarkov.

Alot of items will be bound to you, such as guns; so dying isn't a big deal, you may lose some ammo, medkits and at worst, the loot you've been collecting for the past 20 minutes.

gunplay is fun, my session quickly devolved from doing quests to running around with my new favorite AK just murdering whoever i saw, however the AI enemies can be a bit annoying. Hounds can rush you down in a pack, using a shotgun is more effective than using an AK. Rats are the same as hounds just a little smaller and i think a bit faster, pigs and boars tend to be spongey early on and can lead to some annoying deaths.

Overall the game is fun, quests can be a bit annoying to follow but in the end you'll probably get distracted killing the other faction

A friend bought me the year of prophecy with edge of fate, so heres the damn opinion.

Bungie has decided that you're going to pay 40 dollars to get confused in one of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ locations they've pumped out, and while they're at it they decided to do some more traditional mmo pacing- Aka they now make you read a text wall from npcs between missions and put in multiple long calls with important npcs that after playing this game since red war, I couldnt care less about. The empathy well has run dry and now i've gone from running dungeons and strikes and having fun, to playing a ♥♥♥♥ campaign i couldnt care less about because bungie took away my light level.

Steer clear of destiny 2, it's not what it used to be, Hell you're better off booting up destiny 1 on a ps4

Got into a match with a friend via crossplay, Crashed mid match, game never worked again

After skipping an amount of cutscenes i lost track of, the game proceeded to throw 2 login bonuses and a scratch off lottery ticket in my face. not even a good ingame scratcher either, just a button that says scratch on it.

Have you ever wanted to work for space amazon and get launched into orbit all because you missed 2$?
Then come aboard buddy, there's a space worm we gotta feed.

Despite being an example of dual wielding in the trailer, there isnt enough rocket ammo to wield two of them for a good amount of time.

*However, this is remedied with the fact that you can instead dual wield two high powered nail guns with suppressors and turn any nazi you see into swiss fkn cheese*

Good melee combat, Hitting an enemy will have your animation change to reflect that instead of fully swinging through their body. Put the game on easy and any 2 handed weapon will fling enemies about 10 feet when they die.
