As someone who grew up with Ace Combat games on the PS2, Project Wingman is a faithful recreation of the funny plane game with an incredible sound track, and trailer worthy moments in almost every engagement. If you like funny plane games, this one's worth it, if you've never played one then it's a good entry point to see if you like it at only $25.

Helldivers, we stand united against the common enemies of Managed Democracy, wherever they may be, and whoever they might be. Be they robot, bug, or treasonous traitors trying to force their ideals on us, we stand resolute in the face of adversity. We killed over 2 billion bugs in just 10 hours, we defended planets against impossible odds, there is nothing that can stand in our way of life. So grab your weapons, drop in, and go serve a nice hot cup, of Liber-Tea.

I'm not normally one for base building survival games, but this one caught my attention. Like everyone else, I initially thought it was going to just be a meme. "Pokémon, but with guns!" Yet it is so much more than that, and calling it that is disingenuous. This is closer to "ARK with Pokémon", and a fair bit more realism applied to how things would work if we actually had Pokémon in our world.

At $30, this game is a steal, and to top it off its dethroned Counterstrike from its number 1 spot in most played, at least for now.

It's free, not much else to say.

So, you want to play GTFO? Well, do you like darkness? Do you like spooky atmospheres? Do you like dedicated co-op experiences? And do you like shooting things in the face? Then GTFO, the level based survival co-op shooter, is for you.

Bricky memes aside, this game is fun. The experience it provides is a niche one, but what it offers compared to other games today is unique. Guns have weight to them, the enemies are actually threatening, and every aspect knowledge you have for tactical based shooters will be tested.

Most other games have a "great with friends" tag tied to them. Not this one though. This game is with friends, or at the very least a full group on voice comms.

My verdict: Try it. Writing this review during a period where the game is on sale for $27, so it's definitely worth at least checking out.

Danger. Darkness. Dwarves. The slogan of Deep Rock Galactic is true to the very core, featuring randomly generated cave systems to explore, bugs to kill, and the stubby legs of Dwarves to do it all with. Cosmetic only DLC means that when you buy the game, you buy the whole gameplay experience, not to mention that the DLC cosmetics are only a small portion of what you can earn on the front of cosmetics alone. Absolutely worth it, hands down, even at regular asking price.

Gameplay is fun for a bit. It's a Diablo style MMO with decent combat. My issue with it, is that it gets real repetitive, real fast. The story is so lackluster that I've already forgotten it. My bet is that this game over the next few months from release is going to encounter the same problems that Anthem and New World did, and will die off due a lack of interest.

I'll start this review off with a simple statement. What you get for free, feels like what you would typically get for a full priced game, and the MTX are completely optional.

What I like:

Combat in this game is an advanced form of "Rock, Paper, Scissors", and generally flows well. The enemy you're fighting throws up the Smash skill?? Counter them by either basic attacking, or using the Counterattack skill. Every skill used by you or your enemy has multiple counters, and the in game tutorial that you encounter early on gives you a good look at what counters what, and what happens if you fail to counter something properly.

The story is something that I personally find engaging, starting things off slowly by giving you context to the situation, and then ramping up as you go to a finale.

Progression happens naturally, and in multiple forms. Ranking up skills not only increases that skills effectiveness, but also gives you a permanent stat buff to your character that benefits you.

You're not job locked. You can level up all skill ranks just by using them after obtaining them, and while it might become more difficult to rank certain skills after acquiring enough permanent stat boosts, it is still possible.

What I don't like:

MTX. The MTX available for Mabinogi are primarily quality of life based, that verge too much into necessity. This primarily comes in to play with inventory size, since you can buy extra inventory spaces for a premium in the form of certain bags and every single pet. The free pets you get early on, a horse and an eagle, do not have inventory. If you don't put money in, you will feel the constraints of the limited inventory you have before very long.

Overall thoughts: what you get for free is an incredible experience, but the MTX are a little too overbearing. Give it a try if you want. A solid 7/10 overall from someone who is over 20k+ total level, and cleared most story related content.

I'm changing my review for Destiny 2. I can no longer advertise a positive rating for this game based on the absolutely horrendous customer support that I've been experiencing over the last month. Some context, I played Destiny 2 when it was still on the Activision Blizzard Launcher, and thoroughly enjoyed my time with it. Since the game went Free to Play w/ paid content, I have spent a little under a thousand hours playing, and along the course of playing, making friends and memories.

Now for what happened. On July 2nd, I discovered that someone was breaking in to my account and using it to cheat on for Trials of Osiris carries. I swiftly dealt with the issue, and resecured my account, only to come back to a PERMANENT game ban minutes later. I gathered the evidence that I could that someone else was logging in to my account WITHOUT my permission, and sent it to Bungie in a ban appeal not once, but twice. Both times, my appeal has been denied and I've received no clarification as to what the hell is going on, and whether or not I'll ever be able to play Destiny 2 again. The community managers would rather be farming guns than actually helping people, and overall I've just been ignored in my cries for help to try and get unbanned. Thousands of hours spent building a profile in a game that I got attached to, more than likely gone forever now.

On top of the horrible customer support, the game is an absolute grind fest, and basically requires you to play it like a second job just to stay relevant in end game content. There's also the cheaters situation, which if the story above is any indication, Bungie would rather keep innocent people banned than deal with the blatant idiots who spam heavy and supers all game.

An homage mainly to the first Dark Souls in the animation and overall graphics, Dark Souls 3 is an unforgettable experience. A worthy end to a series that deserves no less than this. I started with Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition, and have been hooked on the series ever since, and am pleased to say that Dark Souls 3 will not disappoint. To those of you who are new to the series I highly suggest you go back and start with the first Dark Souls, and also that you play with a controller. Keyboard and Mouse support is there, but this game shines when using a controller to play (also the fact that you basically have to have a controller for Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 to play them without using third party programs to lock the mouse in place). TL:DR Good game, use a controller.
