Opening dialog is really slow.... The main character in the opening cut scene does a lot of unnecessary talking to himself that seems awkward and weird. "Right... right... whats this?... ok... right... alright." The first encounter with enemies is kinda cheesy...felt like something a child would come up with while playing with their action figures and dinosaurs.
Diago's dialog is also slow and awkward. Many strange pauses in the middle of sentences... makes it hard to listen to. Really struggled to pay attention to anything he said.

The fighting itself is hard to get used to, and is something like "For Honor" which isn't bad once you get the hang of it. Its more of a duel style fight than a standard hack and slash. You cant just button spam, you actually have to pick your shots and time them or else you get picked apart pretty easily. Also, the fighting mechanics seems like this is very much a game to play with a controller. Keyboard and mouse wasn't bad for wondering, but when i had to fight it just wasn't very intuitive for K&M.

The environment is nice! I found myself really picking through little areas, and exploring even in the limited confined area of a demo! Very good lighting and detail!

After 16 hrs of play I finally died... of boredom.

This game or 'sim' is awesome! Takes me back to the OG skate days (back when it wasnt a slightly more realistic version of THPS) and then drastically impoves upon it! I love the feel of skating in this game. Its prabably the most realistic skate game ever made!

Things to know is that the map is tiny. and the its mostly flat bars and ledges (at least for now) Being that this is early access, I foresee them adding way more. There has been disccusion on updates coming soon in 2019 some time after the Holidays.

Things I would love to see added:
hippy jumps/ hippy flips
cavemans/ ability to get off the board
darkslides/ freestyle skate tricks
some vert/ grab tricks
more ramps/ transitions like humps, banks, ext
some handrails, and BIG stair sets.
last but not least, customization! things that would be really awesome that I'm pretty sure hasnt been done before is being able to pick what size board, size wheels, rails, and what shape. You know, maybe your an old school guy who loves those old school santa cruz shapes. It woul;d be so awesom to bring that old school style, and tricks into the game.

Pretty fun game. Good to play if you just wanna get a few quick pvp matches in. Small CS go style maps. Its a constant shooting RNG style FPS for sure. Little lag spikes here and their, nothing that really brakes the game.
Only thing that annoys me, is the random boxes you can buy with the in game currency. It says "A random box containing a PERMANENT item." Ive bought 5 of these boxes... only one contained a permanent item. The rest gave me things that only last for 1-3 days... I had to go back and double check what the word "permanent" ment in the dictionary... going by what Webster has to say, permanent doesnt describe an item that you only have for 1-3 days.
Other than that.. Its FREE and its fun, so I like it.
