It's like Ghost recon phantoms from the good old days

The FPS is pretty low currently. I think the developers said that the game will be optimised at the end of early access, after all major content and mechanics have been added and worked out.

Right now there are only US servers, but they are located on the east coast so EU players shouldn't have any disadvantages, lag or connection problems because of this. However, lag and 1 second screen freezes do happen to everyone from time to time because of the games early stage in development. I myself live in Eastern Europe and I know that EU servers were in the game earlier, but not anymore. They will probably add them back again in the future and maybe in other parts of the world too when the game releases or gets more popular.

I have been following the game for over a year now and the developers have been completely dedicated to it non-stop the entire time. They have been constantly releasing major content updates, patches, bug fixes, quality of life improvements, cosmethics, mechanics, youtube videos, podcasts, streams, q&as, roadmap plans for the future, steam announcements and more. About every week it's something new. Never before have I seen developers work on a game this much for so long. They still have a long way to go because the project is massive, ambitious and unique, but in the end it will be worth it for them and for us. I finally bought the game 2 days ago and have been enjoying every minute of it.

In a quick description of the game I would compare it to Guns of Icarus Online, only here you fully design, build and customize your airship from the materials you gathered. You fly through a huge mmo world traveling between unique islands in the sky. When you are on the islands you use a grappling hook that lets you move around like spider-man. When you run into other players PVP can happen in form of airship battles in the sky or in form of gun fights on land. There is also a PVE server now.

We wanted freedom to choose which augments to apply,

Pure fun.

The best part about the game for me were the well designed and challenging boss fights. There are 6 of them in total, and it took me 6.5 hours to get to the end.
The reason why a lot of people don't like the game is because they find the areas between the bosses uninteresting. I personally liked them because each of those areas had a different location, theme and gameplay element. Plus the environments were well drawn and enjoyable to look at, although some were a bit too empty for my taste.
The story is not bad, but nothing special really. It's based on Norse mythology. You must prove yourself to the gods by beating the bosses to enter Valhalla.

They agreed on a price, and he knew he could have asked for more,
But he decided not to, because the wilge was small and poor.
Then he went away, for a monster he now had to track,
As he was leaving, the villagers stared at the two swords on his back.
One made of silver, and the other of steel it was,
One tasted blood of beasts, and the other of human outlaws.
He returned the next day, before the sun had set,
Looking tired, and smelling of blood and of sweat.
He collected the coin, for the creature he had to slay,
Then he got on his horse Roach, and went on his way.
What happened there, some might call a bloodbath,
But it was just a regular night, for a witcher on his path.
Many nights like this, he had to spend alone,
Cold and in the dark, on hostile ground unknown.
Cautious he was, of enemies that lurked around,
What more can you say about a man who sleeps sitting down.
There was something he carried, that gave him comfort in such time,
A crystal skull and a rose, both had value sentimental and sublime.
He knew the day would come, when he'd have to choose between those two,
So he carried them both, until he knew what to do.

Steampunk battles, fleet against fleet,
Every single airship armed to the teeth.
You will hear them behind the clouds, coming from afar,
If you fear those sounds, better wish upon a falling star.
Their cannons shall burst, and make a loud roar,
But you haven't seen the worst, you'd be wise to hit the floor.
In this case the floor is the deck,
But soon it will also be part of the shipwreck.
If you are a captain, you'll hope your crew is ready,
If you are a gunner, you'll hope your aim is steady.
For from a warship, flying so high,
You cannot escape, you can only fight or die.
The time of running and cowering is no more,
In these skies it is a time of war.
And that falling star will not help you, if you wished upon it before,
Because it wasn't a star, it was the enemy's double-barreled mortar.
