all the grimdark without the magic fantasy to explain away things, just war death famine, the only slim glimpse of hope you'll ever see is whether or not you'll get to see the next day, collect resources to trade with vendors for cash to upgrade your gear scavenge water for survival, bring your friends along with you if you need a helping hand, but when things go sideways just remember your life is on the line and you only have to be faster than the slowest scav, the atmosphere tension and world building through just existing in the worlds space seeing what life on earth has become is exceptionally beautiful in a dark twisted way that pulls you in as you seek to learn more about how and why life is the way it is now, I absolutely love this grim concept of survival it's you vs literally everything and everything definitely wants to kill you dead and harvest your corpse for ful in their own war, this game is definitely not for everyone, I wouldn't even say it's genuinely hardcore yet more just quick is dead and what you need to be is slow, slow is smooth smooth is fast, if you're patient take your time make smart calls in what to do or not do you'll be relatively okay, best course of action never fire a shot unless you absolutely have to as a last resort, water system isn't actually attrocious complete a few quests you can get nearly a weeks worth of water within maybe 10-15 minutes, upgrade your rig you can extract up to 3 or more days of water in a single run put that on top of water rewarded for quests you'll be fine, what I would like to see still though is to remove the offline water depletion, mainly since I feel it'd be more engaging to be able to set up a group innards with friends and work together to maintain water supply and resources like your own little scav tribe instead of all water supply collected being solely for your own innards supply when in a group, I do like the introduction of raiders for the innards so instead of just " you have died oh well" when you run out of water you get a fighting chance to gear up fight back and resupply from the fallen raiders instead, which is nice makes it feel a little more engaging and less frustrating since at least you have an opportunity to recover before you lose it all. ( if anybody wants to comment things they wanna see eventually developed for the game as well I'd love to hear others ideas and thoughts, I'm sure ya'll gamers out there have some pretty cool ideas. )

is it VRChat, no, is it close to it enough, yes yes it is, does it have an invasive easy anti-cheat like VRChat hahahahaha NO, does ChilloutVR run smoother than VRChat actually quite a bit better yes, is the community itself part of the developer team now also yes and they do in fact talk to and interact with the community, is the platform polished and fleshed out not quite as it is getting the overhaul needed to support a much larger player base but is not a reflection of the platform itself as it wasn't built to take on so many people at once at the time when it was polished, do I recommend ChilloutVR over VRChat absolutely without a doubt it's now included the community to run the platform for the community it has the features many had to use mods for in vrc because it didn't have them, over the next month or so ( gracious estimation give or take) ChilloutVR will have the content we once had worlds games avatars etc, many VRC creators are removing and reuploading their content from vrchat to chillout vr, so I confidently feel this platform is our second chance and a brighter future for a better tomorrow.

I'd like to say VRC effectively alienated a lot of its disabled users with this new easy anticheat system rolling out, we can no longer use our tools required to communicate with others, we can't socially engage equally for a fun quality of life, vrc effectively shoved us in a corner like we don't exist, on top of that the update will allow malicious users to kill your game far easier ruining your experience because now you can't have tools in play to counter crashers and malicious users, if you wanted to get into vrchat for the funny haha's and good times..... don't the promise of that is long gone it's a cesspool of disaster now I do not recommend downloading this platform, I DO suggest people start moving over to chillout vr or neos yes the user base on those two is near nonexistent, but we can be the ones to populate it and make the content we want for it, plus chillout vr and neos vr has many of the things we want in vrchat but the devs refuse to give us so those two platforms already mechanically have a better footing right now. if vrchat keeps on like this and doesn't step back revoking what they've put in place they can and will be committing social and developer suicide for it.

I played for a while, what time I did play was long enough, it literally just feels like call of duty advanced warfare but with a halo re-skin on it, the fact EVERYTHING is pretty much pay walled makes this 100% just a cash grab on top of the cost of the actual campaign, there was no reason to paywall the multiplayer ms and 343 would have made out just fine with profit from campaign alone, they lied straight to our faces with the promise they would not add any micro transactions or anything, now look they did everything they said they wouldn't, armors paints etc yeah have fun it's all locked behind specific armor classes and you can't really mix and match the way you'd want to to genuinely be custom and unique for your spartan they're all exclusive to their specific cores. I wanted to hope it would go alright but what little hope I even had was washed away it's just not halo.

If you love alien life and entire worlds built around a functioning ecosystem, if you love survival games, resource management as you explore, mystery adventure but most of all the ocean and what could possibly lurk under the surface, then Subnautica is exactly what you're looking for the world is vast and teeming with life, the setting is absolutely gorgeous with it's art style and colors that will drag you under the waves for hours of deep diving and exploration, crafting tools and equipment is fairly easy as well leaving most frustrating mechanics behind so anybody at any level can really enjoy this world as they uncover the lost secrets of the planet.

tried downloading it loaded fine but will not register any controls at all from the controller and will only let you move with asdw keys and prep to charge light with r but nothing else :/ anybody else with this issue ? I'm uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that helps any. but from what I've seen and heard from playthroughs seems like a good fun steampunk inspired puzzle game with nice dark ambience. I do like the style of the game and concept just wish it would register controls from initial install :/
