Although the exact origin of the first Bombardiro Crocodilo meme is unknown, the earliest found video about it was posted on February 20th, 2025, by TikTok, user @armenjiharhanyan. The video features an AI-generated image of a bomber plane with a crocodile face and a male Italian text-to-speech voice that says, "Bombardino Crocodilo, an alligator that bombs kids in Gaza and Palestine and doesn’t believe in Allah and loves bombs." The post amassed over 5 million plays and 543,000 likes in a month.

The Italian brainrot meme was popularized on TikTok over the following weeks, inspiring netizens to create more AI images and videos using Bombardiro Crocodilo and the viral soundbite.

For instance, on March 7th, 2025, TikTok, user @reisonbs posted an AI-generated video featuring "Bombombini Gusini," calling the character Bombardiro's brother. The post received more than 251,000 plays and 23,000 likes in three days.

On March 8th, 2025, TikTok, user @abfalleimer_ahh uploaded a video comparing Bombardiro Crocodilo with the AI character "Tralalero Tralala," which amassed over 8 million plays and 750,000 likes in two days.
