I do not understand the “Very Positive Reviews”, since this “craft, build, and struggle to survive, “- game, can be entirely done without crafting and building.
2 out of the 3 advertised game mechanics are redundant.

There is no need for me to build a base, craft and stay there for the following three reasons:
1. There is nothing to build that I can benefit from, that I don't find lying around everywhere. Everything built feels like it has no use, other than aesthetics.
2. There is nothing to craft there, since my inventory is a huge crafting table which allows me to do everything, anywhere.
3. I can finish the game running from cave to cave, focusing on the “story” objectives while never having a roof over my head.

Overall, the game feels empty, there is no sense of accomplishment, no need to settle down and no motivation that pushes you forward.

Also, at the time of this review, the game feels extremely buggy and the much anticipated “advanced and improved” AI behavior boils down to cannibals being more annoying because they are busy with stealing your logs.

very fun coop game

It's a fun game, don't get me wrong, but I don't know how a dev team can ♥♥♥♥ up their DLC policy so badly.

The game is about 5 different heroes in the Warhammer Fantasy setting, killing rats and stuff. It's a Warhammer setting, so after buying and playing, me and my friends were thinking: WOW it would be so cool if they add like all those different classes, theres so much stuff they can do.
Like just imagine a little Slayer slashing through all those rats, or maybe they even add an Orc to the crew, like it's the End Times, who knows.
Or maybe they will add some Chaos Events, like Demons spawning randomly, since the End Times are like: Chaos & Skaven vs. like... everybody. I mean, there is so much potential, there are so many things they could add.
Yea they will sure do that, right? (me 2015 when they released this game).

2 years later, they are still updating the game, it's not dead, don't get me wrong.
But what are they adding?
Maps. Maps & Weapons.
No new classes, no new fancy enemy types, nothing innovative at all.

For me, Vermintide is one of the top contestant for the "Most wasted potential in DLC's" award, in like the entire history of video games.

Good game, ♥♥♥♥ "servers".

Things that not only crashed my game, but also crashed my Steam:
Trying to play the tutorial: 4 times
Trying to swap controls from Keyboard to Controller: 2 times
Trying to find a practice game: 2 times
Waiting for “Match Starting”: 2 times
Trying to play the game: 1 time
Just being in the main menu so I get 5 minutes to even write a review: 2 times

I couldn’t actually play the game after starting the game (and steam) for 13 times and crashing 13 times, but the main menu music is quite relaxing.

It's like CIV with non stop wars and you crying in the corner because your economy is suddenly in ruins, because chaos corruption is spreading through the air and makes your people unhappy and forces them to rebel against you, no matter where the f*** you are.
10/10 would abandon 6 hour campaign again.

Cheaper than a McDonalds Burger.

TL;DR:
Rundenbasiertes 3rd Person Strategiespiel im Warhammer Fantasy Setting , 9 Heinzis gegen 9 Heinzis

Bissl genauer: Zwischen den eigentlichen Spielen hat man so viel Möglichkeiten seine Warband zu bearbeiten.
Jeder einzelne Heinz levelt individuell (noch nicht im Early Access), wie in einem normalen RPG. Waffen, Skills, so gut wie alles kann von jedem Heinz angepasst werden.
Super viele Möglichkeiten, noch nicht viel davon im Early Access, aber ich sehe eine positive Zukunft.
