One of the most unique and interesting indie games out there, I played the hell out of the itch.io versions prior to the full version and I'm so happy to see it finally make it to Steam. If you're even slightly interested by the art or vibe of this, you owe it to yourself to check it out.

I still suck at Triple Triad!

Short but highly replayable and polished, Lunistice is everything you could ask for in an extremely affordable package. Many self-billed retro 3D platformers have a tendency to willingly stand in the shadow of their inspirations, so it was a nice breath of fresh air to play one that has a strong gameplay and visual identity of its own rather than just refining and iterating on an existing design.

My only major criticism is that the controls are so sensitive yet precise that it takes some getting used to. I played with "smooth turning" turned off, as I felt that the turning radius was very awkward with it on and didn't really address any gripes I might have had with the controls. I feel like a third option between the two extremes might have been a more ideal compromise, but I was otherwise satisfied with the options provided to tweak the controls.
