CS:GO Review
After 5 years of this game being out, it still hasn't felt like it was ever going to age. I would come back to this game for endless entertainment and infinite fun. In the current state that it is now, the game feels like complete, yet new updates still brings out the unexpected enjoyment out of the game. This game is a MUST BUY for everyone!

Backstory of my Experince with Age of Empires
When I first played this game, I was about 6 years old. Since I was born outside an English-spoken country, I didn't know much when it comes to scripts and texts written in English.

It occured to me that even though I was six and I didn't know English, the game is easy to learn and hard to master. Down to heart the game never bores me as there is so many strategies you can do. This adds to the complexity of the game, but at the same maintaining a newby-friendly environment.

The first time I got a hold off this game was back in 2004 (when I was literally 3 or something) when our family got our first computer (Windows 95). My father played a series of games back when he did his bachelor's degree. One of them being Age of Empires 2. If I remembered correctly it was the classic game "Age of Empires 2: The Age of Kings" plus the expansion pack "The Conquerors." No matter how nooby I was, I had a lot of fun compared to the other games that he gave me (including Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and SimCity 2000).

Review
Comparing to the original game plus "the Conquerors" expansion, not much has changed in terms of gameplay. Although obvious to the title "Age of Empires II HD" the graphics were remastered to better suit today's computers and to stay compatible. This of course brings back the nostalgia and good vibes before I got a hold of the remastered edition.

Although the addition of the Steam Workshop and the max population to 500 is nice, it's the same old game with the same campaigns, and the same gameplay/style. The expansion packs/DLCs; "The Forgotten" and "The African Kingdoms" are a nice addition to the game, bringing in new civilisations from other parts of the world.

In Conclusion
I rate this game 10/10 in terms of gameplay and strategicness but it might just be bias. Although I have played other RTS games, Age of Empires II will always be the most suiting once you grow into it. And who knows? Maybe in another 8 years the community will still be strong and the game will continue to be remembered as a step to a change in PC gaming for that time.

This game is the best game in the whole world. You can install add-ons you want to. Also, there are tons of servers you can join and have fun with. Also, you don't have to have Counter Strike: Source to get the textures, just go to the internet and you can get the CS Source textures.
