I recommend this game, as it has not been changed to suddenly require a Playstation account out of nowhere.

It's damn good.

Somehow, they've made space tedious.

Good concepts and simplification of archaic strategy game designs, implemented lazily by people who can't be bothered to patch their product to the point that it can be played to the endgame without lagging to absolute hell.

That means you're limited to the smaller map sizes and number of habitable planets, which means they've sold you entire game modes that simply don't work, because the whole thing will inevitably crumble under its own weight--it's just that larger game modes make that happen a lot sooner.
