IF YOU PLAY WITH THE STEERING WHEEL DON'T BUY THIS GAME ON STEAM, IT'S A BROKEN SCAM HERE!!!

The Steam version of FH4 and MS Store version are TWO DIFFERENT VERSIONS. MS Store version works perfectly fine, but the steam one have 10 degree, baked in, permanent deadzone with deadzone being set to 0 in game options, nothing can fix it, and nobody apparently, even the developer. Another thing that is broken in the Steam Edition is the H/stick shifter! I thought that FH4 in general had a problem with a shifter being connected separately... but since I bought the Microsoft Store version I know that's not true as... As the moment I started playing the MS Store version not only the dreadful deadzone was gone, but also, my Thrustmaster shifter started magically working! So yea, Steam version of FH4 is a broken scam, don't buy it here, if you intend to play it with the wheel, like me.

I wasted a lot of time on the Steam version, and finally reached the breaking point and got the MS Store one and all the infuriating problems vanished, but I have to start over, all my over 500 cars gone, all my houses gone, all the credits gone, everything, had to start from scratch. Don't be like me thinking you can take the 10 degree deadzone, you can't, it drives like crap. Just wait for a promotion on MS Store or buy a gamepass.

PS: Just so you know, FH 5 works perfectly fine on Steam however, no deadzone, shifter works as intended... althought it loads for ages after launch. Noticed that FH4 from the MS Store launches 10 times as fast as the Steam version tho, wonder if it's the same case for MS S. FH5 version too, but not wasting my money on potential faster launch load times.
PS2: got to test FH5 Microsoft version and it loads in similar time and runs the same, so it's safe to buy FH5 on Steam.

PS2: The Dev's response is an automated one, unrelated to anything mentioned in this review. FH4 on Steam got a loads of bad reviews because it was unplayable for literally few months on Nvidia graphic cards, so I guess they just add that automatic response to every negative review now. All the problems mentioned in this review still persist and will persist forever, there either is no possibility to fix them in the Steam version, or no will to do it from the Dev's.
