This game is an enjoyable experience, I enjoyed my time with it.

Now with the TLDR done, this is a sandbox game with some survival aspects. Do the nomnoms and the not warm or not cold bits. Beyond that it does its building mechanics competently, not to say that they are complex, It you enjoy building a prefab with unusual geometry this might be your thing.

Oh and you can catch creatures the game refers to as pals, just a very minor part of the game, not much more.

This is a game that may look child friendly but I would not personally put this in front of a child.

Now that being said, this is a game with an absolute ton of content I have not explored much but I can say in my personal experience that it is an enjoyable game with a very deep and combat and a story that will play at your heartstrings for both good and bad. This adventure explores a lot of emotions some are arguably not good to make use of in a game, however in this one I can understand the use of them. This is a Linear game with a lot of exploration and cleverly hidden secrets and an abundance of side quests, although linear it does give you a lot of options.
This game will take you to dark places.

Its time to use your God-given right to go nuts.
