I have had some good memories in this game. Some cringe ones too mainly relating tot he workshop :|

Unturned is the game that truly cemented my presence in PC gaming. I did play some MMO’s as a kid, but as they died out i found interest in consoles.

I played on consoles for awhile and watched YouTube videos about this blocky survival game in 2016. I knew I needed to create a Steam account and get this game to try for myself. Overall, I had a blast and this game was absolutely amazing in my eyes.

I made friends and had fun playing as a cop in RP servers or surviving in vanilla survival servers.

The aspect I loved most about Unturned was the small communities of servers and how much more of a personal experience it brought.

As updates became few and far between the player base dwindled.

Now I am here. Most of my friends from past servers stopped using Steam all together or just disappeared with the collapse of many Unturned servers that shutdown due to a lack of personal funding.

The main reason for this is due to people waiting for Unturned 2 or Unturned 4.0 that has been in the making for a few years at this point.

The small Unturned server community for as much as I enjoy it seems to be in a constant cycle of insanity. It’s the same process of startup for a couple of months at most and shutdown. This is partly why I don’t play Unturned much anymore is due to this fact.

Overall, I recommend Unturned as it is free and there isn’t much to lose with a free game besides maybe the thermal paste off of your CPU running this game on a crappy PC.

As a fan of anything with a motor and wheels this game hit the mark for me. Being a person who lives in the United States i can confirm this game is pretty accurate (except for the California infrastructure not looking crappy enough and not near enough homeless people modeled in California).

Jokes aside this is a great game. The graphics are beautiful and the trucks are realistic and they use real brands like: Kenworth, Freightliner, Peterbilt, International, and Volvo. Although i do like freight trains, everyone has to like trucks every once in awhile.

If your a railfan, there is plenty of railroad crossings featuring generic versions of Amtrak and BNSF (There also may or may not have Union Pacific knockoff, but i cannot remember if it exists or they are pretty rare).

Also, as a southerner/east coast boi they are making more DLC's that are hitting close to home.

Overall its a great and realistic truck driving simulator.
