Is the game good? Absolutely. Is the menu good? Absolutely not.

I was going to write a long review, but i will keep it short and to the point.

Lego Indiana Jones 2 is for people who have a Tiktok sized attention span and like open world type games.

Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures is for people who have an attention span longer than 10 seconds and is not exactly open world.

- hop into sandbox mode without doing any tutorials or anything
- 10 seconds after loading in i break a bottle of olive oil
- cut up random vegetables and spill them all over the floor for some reason
- decide to cook a steak
- decides that cooked steak is not charred enough to satisfy those well done steak people
- take a blowtorch and attempt to char the steak
- accidentally drop the blowtorch on the floor and catch the kitchen on fire

Would cook professionally again 10/10

The Emergency Experience

Quick Note : Most of my experience was in free-play just for informative purposes.

The Emergency series is one i was introduced to about 4-5 years ago at this point with Emergency 4 Deluxe. Overall, i enjoyed it and had got many hours of enjoyment out of it (even got my dad into it).

The notable improvements over EM4
Emergency 20 or Emergency 5+ Emergency 2016 and Emergency 2017 (with 20th anniversary nostalgia fuel missions) is a upgrade graphically and in some mechanical ways in my opinion coming from EM4. Police actually carry pistols instead of just SWAT before, you can barricade off a scene with tape, and there are 3 free-play maps now.

The faults of this game
The biggest disappointment was the lack of mods generally compared to Emergency 4. The automatic return to base feature thingy when your paramedics or cops load the occupants can be annoying since they leave their coworkers behind. Additionally, RIP Fire Plane you will be missed.

Free-play callouts
The callouts seem to be the same or similar to EM4 with some new ones like a DB ICE3 derailment (yes i like trains way too much) and tram wrecks. There are also some calls related to incidents at a major concert and police calls where you bust up illegal substance trade is the best way to put it.

Summary and Conclusion
Overall, at this point i recommend getting it on sale due to this game being 6 years old at this point. It looks like Sixteen Tons has focused on the mobile game more than this game if you catch my drift.

Hope my transcribed experience will help you in your decision on whether to get this game or not.

Instead of actually reviewing this game, I’m going to do something different. I’m going to go on a constructive rant about the hobby the game is centered around: model railroading. (Btw if you don’t have the space or money for an actual model railroading get this game)

Model railroading in the US at least is a dying hobby. Sadly, I’m one of the few younger people in this hobby. This hobby is very popular amongst boomers, but the struggle is getting the newer generations interested in it.

The younger generation tends to not care about model railroading for a variety of reasons. One being the overall high costs and other reasons being that the hobby has the image of being a Boomer's hobby and the general view of railroads as a technology of the past.

The cost issue is quite a large one. Many low quality Bachman sets cost upwards of $100 and many fair quality locomotives cost $80 and up.

Model railroading has become my favorite hobby and its sad to see the state it’s in. New people to the hobby who might otherwise hold interest in the hobby cannot attain reasonably priced starter sets.

My point being is that i suggest more people try to get into this hobby. It’s nice to see a scaled model of a machine made to haul this country's freight or passengers across an fairly accurate recreation of actual rails.

My advice for new people to this hobby is: avoid Bachmann when you can, look across sites like eBay for used locomotives and rail cars that might just need a small bit of maintenance, and buy additions gradually.

Thanks for listening to my Ted talk and good luck on your first layout if this applies to you!

Please read for my explanation of why i left a negative review. If you know about this game already then carry on, i wont waste your time.

Farming Simulator is a game that i have enjoyed for years now. I originally bought FS17 on console in 2017, and later bought FS15 for PC. I eventually got FS17 for PC and now FS19.

I will split my review into categories so that its more digestible

Graphics

I start off with graphics for a reason. It feels like the overall scenery feels cartoony, rather than the more realistic color scheme of FS17. The skyboxes are a big downgrade i feel. The FS17 skyboxes had beautiful sunsets and was overall great, whereas these skyboxes feel nonexistent. The ground textures seem to have gotten worse as well. Overall, it feels that the coloring of FS17 was overall done better than FS19.

Tractors and Machinery

The machines was the major selling point for me. I have liked John Deere since i was a kid. The name carried a reputation of legendary quality and performance. The quality of a real life machine doesn't mean the game it will be featured in will be quality. The sounds of the tractors feel like it should belong on the model of a Toyota Prius rather than a farm machine made to cultivate miles of field. The interiors do feel somewhat more realistic than FS17 as they have moving joysticks and pedals.

Maps

The Ravenport Map is utter garbage. Goldcrest Valley and predecessors of it are 10x better than this map. I feel that Ravenport exists to make a mockery of America. Americans when they make European Maps would never to the deepest slums of the former Yugoslavian countries to model after. It would be more likely they would model it after farms in France, the UK, or Germany. My point being you generally want to show the better part of a country than showing the absolute worst part of a country. (I do acknowledge that Europe is a continent and not an absolutely unified collective of states like the US)

Felsbrunn still suffered from the same crappy graphics as mentioned in an above section, but it feels like a more idealistic view of a German farm. The fields are bigger than what you might assume an average German field would be and overall it feels like a better map than what us Americas were stuck with.

Modding

Modding is the only saving grace for this game. There has been many great mods, although there has been more buggy mods slipping through the grand firewall of giants software mod hub. Despite this, there was many great mods that added more depth to this game, if it were not for the modding i would've spent way fewer hours in this game.

Continued Rant About Sounds And Overall Vibe Of The Game

The vibe that the tractors give me and the game overall is high efficiency. Tractors as i mentioned before are not a Chevy Volt, they are a machine made to do a job. I expect the sounds and graphics to match this. Sadly, expectations are different than reality. This issue just really annoys me comparing the sounds ingame to the sounds of tractors in real life.

Final Thoughts

FS19 to be brutally honest feels like FS17, except somehow they made it 10x worse with John Deere and Claas machines. This game has made me hesitant to buy FS22 and i still am hesitant to buy it. I simply want a farming game that is worth playing. I simply do not want a worse repaint of the game i had before.

Having bought train simulators before, it feels like Giants Software is going down the process DTG has gone down. Pushing out buggy unfinished games. Its sad to see and i still hope Giants doesn't continue to go down this path.

I know there are white-knights who will defend Giants at every turn and corner, so i have a message to you. You don't have to put up with crap quality to like the game. I love Farming Sim, i just do not like Giants pushing low quality crap.

There is new features, but no amount of bells and whistles will cover up the bad with this game.

TL:DR

This game seems like a crappier clone of FS17 with bells and whistles. Get FS17 if your like me. If you must get it, get it on sale. Ok bye.

I decided to get FS22 on another platform. I will do a full review when i get it for PC. The long story short is, it feels like FS22 has improved from the shortfalls i once criticized this game for. FS22 gives me hope for the future of the game unlike FS19 did.

FS19 still leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but if you feel froggy go check out FS22.

Love the game. It's just the RAM optimization is lacking :|
