It's just nice and relaxing. Commands are easy to use, the graphics are nice. Yeah there's maybe a bug here and there but they're quite easy to overlook.

I love that I can get creative with spaces and thinking about color designs.
I love that they keep investing time in making this game and additional expansions even though they have a second game out.
The dialogue of some of these sellers or customers can easily be skipped, but some of it is just funny to read.

I always come back to this game just to relax and try and do/design something different.

I don't know why but I love this game. It's extremely relaxing. It's not too easy and not too hard.

I only wish you had a completionist mode where you could go on playing until EVERYTHING has been sold and make a leaderboard for that.

Yes it's fun for the first few levels. Quite obviously a mobile game, which I am OK with.
But just like every free mobile game, you get to a point where you can't pass the levels unless you pay for packages to get points or watch 30 adds for 30 days to get the points needed to upgrade stuff so that you can pass the next level.
I'm just tired of the "pay to win" format.

Returning to play this after having played the Dragon Age: The Veilguard .
Playing the Veilguard has made me appreciate Origins so much more. The Veilguard had absolutely terrible character and story plot, so I'm coming back to play Origins so I can have a good weekend with an interesting story and characters. The older graphics don't even bother me - this is a masterpiece.

What I've enjoyed so far:
Yes, there's a lot to do (quite a lot of quests). If you're looking for a game to keep you busy, this is enough. If you've played the previous games, you'll be happy to see a few familiar faces (not playable, but they're in there). The new gear mechanics they have is smart - and enjoyable (upgrading instead of having to loot 200 different things). The fact that you have to get factions and upgrade your factions to unlock new items by the merchants is nice too. The combat style is familiar and easy to get the hang of, and the skilling system really allows you to get a very customizable skilled character. The graphics are OK: Not spectacular, just OK.

What I haven't enjoyed so far:
What the hell happened to the characters? The MAIN reason I've been in love with the dragon age series is because I get "emotionally invested" in my characters and their story line (+love interest). It feels like the team has been so worried about being "inclusive" that they completely forgot to give the characters any depth whatsoever. It's like playing with a weird mix of disney/fortnite characters with questionably cringe voices and dialogue. I've played almost 20 hours so far and I couldn't care less about anyone in my party or what happens to them. The only character that I have some sort of affection for is Assan, because he's a griffin and thankfully doesn't have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ dialogue, he just squeeks. I've unlocked all characters, because I wanted to find out if finally there was someone I could romance (I'm a woman and wanted a "strong male figure" to romance) but it looks like I'm going to have to settle for somebody I don't care about. Honestly, it's the first time I've had to close a Dragon Age series game so I could go play something else more enjoyable for a little bit. Additionally: what the heck happened to the puzzles? I don't think I've had to use my brain once - "click here > activates this other thing > break it > loot appears" wow... _so complicated_. I also saw a glimpse of Dorian (from the Inquisition), why did you need to butcher that guy's face? I also miss seeing the enemies on my minimap (to see if there's any left and in what direction), why is that gone? Also, the "zones" are EXTREMELY linear - there's really not much you can do just to discover areas without a particular quest selected.

I'll give it another go tomorrow and play some more... and hope that some character development appears out of nowhere, but honestly... if I'm not invested after 20 hours of gameplay, I doubt it will happen after. If you're thinking about playing a Dragon Age series.. I'd recommend getting the previous one... not this one.

Edit: I did in fact not play again. I have 0 motivation to because I know I would just be skipping through all boring dialogue where my options don't influence the game to make it excitable in a way. The only reason I would start this game again is because I'm a completionist and dislike having games "unfinished" - but that will only happen when I'm bored of all my other games.

I was looking for something fun to spend some time with a friend and was recommended this game by another fried. Yes the story is a little linear but it has been entertaining. The funnest part was watching Leo throw chickens in the air - I also maybe spend a little too much time learning the banjo. I really enjoyed the change of pace between story and shooting and action.

We finished it in one sitting (6.5 hours with breaks in between included). And we're already talking about when we would re-play it in order to get a different ending and go through different options.

The graphics, the music, the voices, the script are all amazing. I just wish there would be a little more options or interaction with objects available.

The game at its current stage can be finished in just over 2 hours. As a whole, I enjoyed it, but I do feel that SO MUCH MORE could be done. I feel like this game is at its very early stage and does not warrant the price it costs, yet. I feel like the game also has a bit of a split personality. I'm not sure if it's trying to be an informative simulation game or a timed-click-survival type of game.

The positives:
- the graphics are nice and recognisable (form other games created by the same studio).
- The sounds are minimal and clear, I wouldn't expect more.
- It does make you think about "what would I do" in a certain situation.
- I really like that some of these accidents are from different years or even centuries. Sometimes you have GPS to help you, sometimes you don't even have a phone... it does put things into perspective.

The negatives:
- The music is just loud and annoying at the beginning, had to turn it down immediately.
- The emergency contact on the phone just sounds the same all the time, gets annoying over time.
- way.. .way too short of a game for the current price.
- The game is meant to be "realistic" right? How was I able to pull up a tree log all by myself? Was it made of cardboard?

What could be improved (msg to the devs):
- As far as I know... "Accidents" aren't only on the road, perhaps include ones that have no happened with a car?
- In real life, road traffic accidents are taught to be secured differently depending on which country you are in (according to the law). Depending in which country you are in, the way to secure an accident should be told differently in the game - or ignore it, but mention at the beginning that the procedures told are fictional... I see too many people in chat already saying "Good tip for real life" when in fact, some of the tips in game aren't factual or legal at all in real life, depending on your country or residence.
- If you "fail" a task, it should have consequences (other than the person just dying). Like another user mentioned before, if you don't secure the crash site fast enough, another potential victim could make its way into the crash site. Maybe one person who was stable before now all of a sudden isn't stable anymore? Or perhaps a rock from the mountains falls and worsens the scene?
- I don't always have my phone next to me in the car, sometimes I have it purse that is in the backseat. Little things like that could make the rescue more "challenging" over time,
- My car fire extinguisher is under the passenger seat - could also be an option to make it more difficult?
- Perhaps you could have bags in the boot of your car that make you have to remove them before you can reach your triangle or first aid kit?
- what if some of the equipment was broken or missing? (No bandages or breathing mask missing), find ways to work around it. Would also be a good opportunity to remind people to check the contents and the validity of their First Aid kits.
- "Onlookers" could potentially block the road of the emergency vehicles (just like real life). Task: you have to shoo/shout them away.
- Someone who hasn't done first aid training could come ask you "how can I help?" and then you assign them easy tasks like: Keeping onlookers away, calming the victims that are awake, double checking that the crash site is secure... etc..
- There are so many things you could do with this game....!

EDIT: ALRIGHT..... it has been FOUR years since my review. What has changed?

My comments above are still valid - since 4 years ago, a couple of small things have changed:
- They have added 2 new crash sites (they are fun)
- They have added an "after movie" to showcase what happened (they are good)
- instead of 2 hours, the game now takes roughly 2 and half to 3 hours
- the price has gone drastically down (this is good)

So yes, as of 2024 - I think this game is now worth the (low) price it currently is as. This is generally a good reminder to keep a small fire extinguisher with you in your car - it may not be for you, but it may be needed to save another life. In some countries (like Belgium) all car drivers have to have a fire extinguisher on them, and honestly, I wish more people did.

I played it for free during the Steam "Spring cleaning" event, as a game you can play for free for the next 2 days. I am NOT dissapointed at all. What a great choice of game to suggest for our fellow steamers.

It has an air of Diablo mixed with Dragon Age. I put the game on Easy to start with, because I'm not much about the fighting, but more about the storyline. If you also like to play a game that can change the path of your quests according to the dialogue, then this is the game for you. Looks like I'm going to have to play this again and again... until I have gone through every scenario.

Positive:
- The dialogues can be crude or funny, and stay easy to understand (not too much confusion between people and areas)
- Really easy to pick up on the default keys
- The questing is clear (as long as you read...)
- The looting gets better if you're a goot explorer (Take your time to look around every corner)
- There are some brainteasers/Puzzles
- Haven't gone through the whole game yet, and I've been playing none-stop for about 6 hours, so looks like a decent amount of stuff to do, at least if you're a completionist.

Negative:
- The graphics are just "meh". OK but not exciting.
- The puzzles and brainteasers are slightly too easy in my opinion.
- Some "Epic" gear isn't half as good as some "Fine" gear: what's the deal there?
- I noticed that sometimes the "starting phrases" for the dialogue was missing and replaced with a "<insert conversation from this dude here.file>" or something simular
- The music is anticlimactic

Will buy the full version as soon as my free 2 days are over.

Probably one of the best surival games I've ever played. I enjoy that the game is being regularly updated and new options are made available. If you have doubts: don't, just get it.

Playing it with friends does make it easy. Alone it is challenging.
