I'll cut to the chase: go buy Skullgirls right now. It's incredibly fun and you'd be hard pressed to find a better value for your gaming dollar. The sheer amount stylishness, polished gameplay, and raw originality on display here is truly remarkable.

I've always enjoyed fighting games, but I'm not an expert by any means. I like to learn as many special moves and combos as I can, but my actual "strategy" usually ends up being semi-coherent button mashing. I own Street Fighter IV and Mortal Kombat and have had a lot of fun with both. Skullgirls is similar in many ways to its big-budget cousins, but it's also very much its own game. The neo-Art Deco art style is very well done and the characters are designed and animated to perfection. It's an absolute joy to watch classic Warner Bros.-style cartoon chaos unfold as cars race across the screen, heads roll, and giant balls of twine wreak havoc on your character. The voice acting is limited, but suits the mood of the game to a T, as does the 1920s-era jazz soundtrack.

I do have a few tiny nitpicks. I would like to see a few more characters, a little bit more voice work, more graphics options, and maybe some polishing done on a few of the stage backgrounds. Honestly though, I get why there are a couple of minor weaknesses like this. Clearly the developers spent a huge amount of time and money perfecting the core gameplay, and as a result they've come up with something really special. If a few secondary things fell through cracks or got pushed back then that's totally reasonable. It just makes me look forward all the more to future patches/DLC and (hopefully) Skullgirls 2!

This game is anything but revolutionary and great, battle royal is nothing but a deathmatch on a shrinking map, yet everyone treats it like they never played online video game ever before, go play any old video game with a multiplayer mode, choose deathmatch and there you have it. Battle royal before it was a thing, long before these scumbags creators of this garbage wanted to claim the genre as their own and tried to sue Epic Games for making battle royal game, which is ironic considering the fact they literally use their engine to run this **** game.

The only reason why this game is relevant are streamers paid by creators, without them this game would be long dead less than a month after it's realese.

But enough about creators, let's talk about lackluster game shall we?
We have ourselfs deathma-battle royal in the ARMA environment and horrible recoil, we get some cosmetics here and there, it's revolutionary right? Let's just pretend there have never been any games with cosmetics in them...
Camping, camping, camping...
Don't you ever dare to even aim at streamer it will get's you banned from server instantly!
Great game really...

And PUBG players? They're the funniest thing about this game, they'll try their hardest to defend this game like it's their only child and label everyone with genuine criticism as trolls.
Absolutely pathetic.

Perfect example of easy to pick up and play, hard to master. Rocket League is basically Re-Volt meets football and it’s a sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, a rather unknown gem. The major achievement of Rocket League is how it offers something for both casual and competitive gamers. As a casual gamer, you can play it with your friends and have great fun. If you are more competitive, you can go into ranked mode and see the extremely high skill ceiling that Rocket League provides. Watch some youtube videos and you will see the ridiculous moves the more pro gamers can do, which obviously comes with a lot of training. So, if you enjoy getting better as you spend hundreds of hours on a video game, Rocket League will please you. There is basically no limit to how much you can improve your skills.

In addition, the game has very tight controls and fun gameplay. I hated the music, but that’s personal taste. The only reason I did not love Rocket League as much as many others, is that in my opinion, the game at its core is very basic. I did enjoy it for several hours, but I could not take it seriously for longer than that. There is absolutely nothing wrong about making a game with basic gameplay especially when it was executed perfectly like in the case of Rocket League. I just can’t justify giving it a higher score, taking into consideration all the other video games I’ve had more fun playing.

6.5/10

To this day one of my all time favorite games. It features a completely unique gameplay experience.
And a lot of diversified content. The feel and tasks of the different missions sometimes differ so greatly that you might think it is an completely different game but at the same time it doesn't lose its unique PayDay like characteristics. At this moment i have over 70+ hours invested in this unique experience and i am max-lvl 2600( infamy XXV 100) and the gameplay experience is one of the most polished out there.

But there is a great down side to this otherwise masterpiece of a game and that is called
micro-transactions and you could even say that there was some kind malicious way they got people to buy all there 40+ DLCS.
It always starts with a DLC being released. And if you didnt own it you only had the option to play with the standard weapons and perks.
And the no DLC weapons and perks are like sticks and rocks in comparison to the ones released in the different DLC packs.
Playing on the hardest difficulty which is "Death Sentence" with the "ONE DOWN" modifier is almost impossible up to straight up impossible with the non pay weapons.
And every new DLC featured guns that where straight up better than there predecessors.
However when a new DLC got released the weapons from the previous ones got nerved so much that they either became mediocre, gimmicky or straight up usless and the new weapons became mandatory for the different end game builds.
So it was like a vicious never ending cycle of buying the new DLC, DLC getting nerved, buying the next new DLC and so on..
