AQtion is a simple packaging of Action Quake 2, a great mod for Quake 2 from the 90's which is the forefather to games like Counterstrike.

Whilst like all old school shooters, the community is a bit smaller than most, but overwhelmingly positive people who seem to just enjoy the game. I've thus far only had positive experiences playing with everyone. It's incredible that AQtion exists, and if you want a little taste of what shooters led the way for the ones you enjoy now, please consider giving it a go!
