The worst game of all time. I bought the whole series to follow up on the story, but I'm giving up with this one. Altair is just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying to control while roaming the cities or in a fight. There isn't really any assasination type game play in this since it's the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pattern over and over again: Collect random "sight-seeing spots" until you randomly reveal the 3 (always three) stupid, unrelated mini-missions on the map. Do those and you can "assasinate" someone. By assasinating I mean just be forced to walk right next to the target with slow walk, without any kind of stategic thinking possible (creative assasinations?), probably some random ♥♥♥♥♥♥ will start beating you up and then all of the 20 guards attack you for being the player. Then you franticly try to stab the target in the midst of the fight to get this "cool cinematic" where some bit of story is being revealed.

Controls suck. Altair just bounces to almost random places and seemingly never into the direction your camera is looking or where you would want to go. 1% of the game (story) would be interesting, but I can't get through the other 99%.

Either there is some major bug in the difficulty or the developers have screwed up with the normal difficulty level. I have now tried playing this game with multiple different people and we just cannot muster through the slogh of this gameplay. Magicka 1 was completely fine even on the harder difficulties. In Magicka 2 your wizard seems to have around 1000 health, your normal weak enemy has like 14000 and almost everything kills you on single hit. All the enemies also run towards you at least as fast as you can move. All the custom artifacts you can select from the custom difficulty only weaken you. What kind of sense does this make?
