Probably one of the best games I've played in the last 15 years, and maybe in my whole life, not kidding.
Everything about it is just awesome, granted you don't mind the farm, and even that part is not necessary to get to the endgame.
Past this point (50hrs if you're good and rushed it - 150/200hrs for completionists), you really keep playing to "get gud" / challenge yourself with harder mobs / farm better and/or limited stuff / get all achievements / finish side missions, etc.. In fact, the game in itself starts once you finish the main campaign in my opinion since it gets so much more challenging.
I really advise to play with friends since it adds the teamplay element to the fun, even though playing alone also means different tactics so both are viable really.
Last but not least, the recent DLC (Iceborne) adds at least as much content that there was in base game, with the same level (if not more) of details and a whole bunch of new weapons/armors/monsters/quests... If you loved the base game, Iceborne is for you.
