Very playable game, not bad for a 32-bit programme released in 2011.

Highly Recommended

Bus Simulator 21 is a very good game with lots of potential and the developers have worked very hard on the game implementing alot of the features that the community wished for after Bus Simulator 18

- Double Decker Buses
- Electric Buses
- Harder roads to drive down

And so much more....

Very fun game, you will not be disappointed....

Good stability for early access, bare in mind features are limited but more are coming in the next few months and beyond.

What's good?

- The gameplay is there (a little limited but more things to do are coming later)
- Graphics are awesome
- Variety of calls are somewhat limited but what is there is realistic
- Stability is good although random crashes do occur but the autosave feature means you don't lose any progress

What needs improving?

- Those pesky bugs that still esxist

I Love this game so much, it's exactly what I've been waiting for and it was a huge pleasure to be able to take part in the Closed EA phase earlier in the year, so much detail already exists and it's only going to get better with time, very exciting times if you're a simulation fan/bus enthusiast...., this is the real deal.

Now with the Line 200 it's sure, TML studios is taking the crown for the best Bus Simulator

A honest review from someone who plays simulation games day in day out.

I give the good points, the bad points then my conclusion>

What's Good?

- Graphics are excellent.
- FPS (Frames Per Second) is stable and not that many lags/stutter.
- Functionality of the tram is good.
- Modes for the player to choose from is varied.
- Beautiful recreation of Vienna.
- Full 24hr Day/Night Cycle.

What's Bad?

- No Controller support.
- No Custom Keybindings.
- No Dynamic Weather.
- No Seasons.

My Conclusion?

My Main takeaway from the first times i've played TramSim is the following:

If you're really into Trams then go right ahead!, purchase the game, but the Price is quite excessive £32.00 for Just one Train, and One Route, hopefully this will change overtime, but right now, it's a hard sell, i'm going to say it's a yes to the recommendation, only because the Overall experience and gameplay modes just about justifies the Price Point.

A very nice DLC, better since it's been optimised and works a treat, vive la France!

Needs Improvement

What's Good?

- Realistic and Detailed recreations of railways around the world.
- simple step by step tutorials.

What's Bad?

- some bugs exist that still havent been patched.

Overall though the game is good enough i can recommend it, however expect the odd bug here or there.

== Original Review ==

A honest review for someone who has a lot of hours in the game, not just a 2 hour play and instant negative, I give the good and the bad points, then my conclusion.

What’s good?

- the ability to customise and change your company.
- the bus driving physics are excellent.
- accurately represents a bus driving simulator.
- developers are very good at responding to your feedback.
- bus models are authentic.
- good optimisation.
- mod support.

What’s bad?

- persistent bugs make game unplayable at times (passengers frozen in bus during a holiday, incorrect collision notifications).
- some issues with bus models clipping other objects incorrectly (especially MAN buses).
- Career is too short.
- once you’ve figured out the way the game gives you objectives, easy to complete the game within hours.
- bugs causing achievements to be permanently locked, even though you’ve “achieved” the target.

My Conclusion?

At the moment until the bugs with passengers freezing in the bus, and the incorrect collision notifications are fixed, I cannot recommend the game, yes the developers are very good and respond to your comments, but these are real game stopping bugs, and prevent you from being able to play the game properly (have to avoid holiday drives, and be super careful not to get too close to another object to avoid the incorrect collision notifications, and thus negating what the game is about, and stopping the fun of it.

I really love the game, as I am a bus-geek, but in its current state, I can’t play it, which is sad, as the game has so much potential, and the devs have added in what was asked for after bus sim 16 was released, and made a solid improvement with bus sim 18.

But until the bugs are fixed, I’m afraid I am advising people to avoid buying the game until the bugs are fixed, and the game is fun, playable and enjoyable once again.

== February 7, 2019 Review Update ==

A dedicated bug fix patch was released today which remedied the issues with stuck passengers and incorrect collision notifications on MAN buses, and as a result, i am pleased to say i can recommend Bus Sim 18 once again to all.

Good game although very laggy on 10x speed and needs some polishing, understand it’s still in early access, but being as it’s near to release, the game needs to be optimised, and fast, otherwise it’s a awesome game :)

Fernbus Review

This review is based on Version 1.25.32292 of Fernbus which was released to the public on Thursday 28th May 2020.

Unlike other people, i don't just play 2 hours and then give a instant negative review, i give my impressions, the good points, the bad points and then my overall conclusion.

My Impressions:-

Having played for just under 1500 Hours, i can honestly say that Fernbus coach simulator is by far and away the best bus/coach simulation on the market right now, and is only getting better with each update which adds new innovations and bug fixes/improvements, the guys and girls over at TML Studios work very hard on delivering a first-class simulation, that is rich with detail and feature packed, authentically reproducing the day in the life of a coach driver.

What's Good?

- Plenty of Vehicles to choose form and drive (MAN lions Coach / Coach C / Scania Touring 121/129/137 / Setra ComfortClass 515/516/516-2/517/519 / Neoplan Skyliner / VDL 106/122/129
- Plus the following vehicles in the new shuttle mode in addition to the above (more about Shuttle Mode later) Toyota BB40 / Mercedes W906 Minibus
- The variety of which the user has control over: Weather/Time/Date/Realism of the Controls greatly enables the user to fine tune to their own tastes.
- The amount of roads the user can drive on (DLC France/ DLC Austria/Switzerland, and the new DLC Netherlands/ DLC Belgium which are coming in 2020).
- The amount of repaints available on the steam workshop which are available for download to the users game, adding more skins/companies liveries into the base Fernbus game.
- The physics of the coaches (the way they all behave when driving on the autobahn, the way they react then you have a accident or go over a speed bump).
- The graphics (Using the Unreal 4 Engine, the graphics excel and are way more detailed and realistic than another game we all know (looks at you ETS2!!).
- The sound engine (the way the sounds change when doing something as simple as opening the window near the driver, the accoustics completely change, adding another level of Immersion).
- The Rain (This may not seem like a big one, but the rain is a item that Fernbus excels at, especially on the front windshield of the coaches, the rain effect is very realistic and by far and away miles better than any other simulation game).
- The New 'Shuttle Mode' (this adds a whole new way to play Fernbus and opens up with it a new world of possibilities, such at trips from Airports to Ports possibly in the future, enabling a completely different side to the world of transportation and completely overhauling the experience in Fernbus).
- The ability to 'Buy once, receive twice' Coach DLC's for Fernbus and Tourist Bus Simluator (No other company would even dream of doing such a kind thing as TML have done by allowing the user to buy a Coach DLC once, and receive it for both Fernbus and Tourist Bus).

What's Bad?

- The AI (well the AI isn't bad per se, but it's sometimes erratic behaviour can cause unnecessary accidents, for which the player is marked down at the end of the drive).

What to improve?

I would certainly say the AI needs work, but apart from that, TML mostly has a lid on it all, they give major revision updates about once every 2-3 Months, which bring with them new features/bug fixes and improvements to boot, take on board the feedback of the community and consistently give world class customer support via the TML forums https://tml-studios.de/forum i couldn't ask for anymore.

My Conclusion?

Fernbus Coach simulator has matured well since it's initial release in August 2016, and with the frequent updates plus new features that TML studios in-coporate into the base game, i can only see Fernbus going from strength to strength, i thoroughly recommend Fernbus and can assure you that you will have hours of fun in this beautiful and realistic open-world game.
