It's a shell of what it used to be. Been playing essentially since launch, and over the last few years it's just progressively gotten worse.

Smurfs and Matchmaking are common issues in a lot of games, and it's no different here. In fact, it's nearly every game that there is a VERY clear difference in skill between two solo-queue teammates on the opposing team, and similarly for your own. To add to that, there are types of players that are clearly not meant to be at the rank they're playing in, yet you find them so consistently in your rank. Whether they're smurfing or the MMR system is not doing what it's meant to, says a lot either way.

More specifically for the reason this game doesn't feel right anymore are the servers. By god the amount of "Ghost Hits" that are present is insane. It's actually in every single game, you'll see a 'hit' by a teammate, just for it to zig-zag above their head and go right past them. I wish this was uncommon - it would be more bearable - but it's ACTUALLY every game. Hell they even show the ghost-hit in half of the replays for all to see.

It's a shame. I really loved this game for so long, for the joy of playing it with friends, and seeing how far my own skill has improved over the years. It's hard to find enjoyment in playing this anymore. If things change, I'd have no problem flipping the review.

For now, I'm looking forward to Rematch. I hope Rematch pulls enough people away from this game so Rocket League will be impacted enough for the developers to take notice and actually improve the current state of the game.

Another emotional roller-coaster with a few clever catches. The ending hit me like freight train and I wouldn't have had it any other way.

What a pleasant experience. I'm always a sucker for these types of things where something can judge me in a constructive way. & it really hit the nail on the reflection. Will definitely be trying the sequel.

My Secret Word: Fantasy

One of the most genuine co-op horror experiences you can play. With or without VR the sheer suspense and terror you'll feel is like none other and it absolutely stays fresh. It's only getting exponentially better with each update.

Interactive and fun game! Can be quite amusing if played with friends. Highly recommend.
