Quality game. Everyone needs fast & fun games like this that are:
a) cheap enough for the penny pinchers of the group to buy, and
b) quick enough to lobby up & start that the lazy bastards of the group (me) will actually launch it.

I love fortune's foundation. I genuinely think I've unlocked a handful of IQ points from obsessively playing it so much. I haven't really touched anything other than that and Sawayama, but either game justifies the price on their own merits. Thanks for getting me into solitaire and ruining my life Zachtronics.

It's pretty shocking to me that this game is such a recent early access release, it plays extremely well considering. Even at these early stages, the game features some very rewarding exploration - the things you find will quickly be put to good use, so often you'll be guessing at the best way to fill your limited inventory with swag from derelict ships found around the map. Oxygen, food, and water are all reasonably big concerns in the beginning, but upgrades over time loosen the strings a bit and let you explore more of the map. I'm 29 hours in, and know there is still quite a lot more to see.

One of my favourite things about this game is watching the world change over time as you grind through the terraformation process. Through your efforts, you see a giant ball of mars-y ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ transform into a pretty green and blue ExoEarth. Emphasis on the grind part though as it IS a bit of a grind, but surprisingly an enjoyable one.
I like going into games completely blind but if you're like me and you tend to build big elaborate bases, then you *definitely* need to know to build on high ground from the get go - nothing too extreme, but just take mental notes of what appear to be former lakes & valleys and build anywhere at or above their rims. Also, when exploring wrecks, you'll want to prioritise blueprint microchips - don't leave a single one behind because they'll unlock some big quality of life upgrades as things progress.

Really excited to see where the devs (a team of two!) take this one. I though my days of binging this hard on games were over, but despite the cliche of survival games, this one is special! Buy and enjoy.

One of the best games I've ever played. Didn't know something could draw me in like that. Go play it blind.
