Explore a tropical paradise with decent game-play but a very ♥♥♥♥♥♥ story.

Like most Far Cry games, it gets repetitive after a while. FC5 had a decent "villain" that kept it going for me. This game had none of that. As you meet more of the resistance characters, you almost wish you could join the Dictators side.

I did enjoy going around the island with my helicopter blowing ♥♥♥♥ up. The island is beautiful and the game ran great.

I would recommend installing the Libertad mod if you are to buy it. I used it to add more enemies to the game to effectively make it feel like you're being hunted. You can also unlock a lot of the skins and the Danny Trejo mission.

If you like Far Cry I would say get it for cheap.

The ambience is amazing and you will die often.

For the most part, the game ran OK... I had some pretty bad frame drops at times and a lot of pop-ins no matter what graphic settings I used.
Steam would sometimes stop running the game (usually after launch) and you could lose playtime and possibly Steam achievements. I don't really care, but you might.
RTX was nice, but I noticed a lot of odd lighting glitches.

One of the most annoying things was being shot through walls/rocks/etc... it doesn't happen all of the time but when playing on a high difficulty it's annoying..
Because of this I gave up trying to play stealth on the early missions of "Billy" Bridger" and just went pure Rambo.
I didn't mind the German mission even though it's very linear and short.

Overall, I found the campaigns to be pretty lackluster, but I will say good on them for having a German one. At the moment I haven't fully beat all of the campaigns I just have Norway to finish and I don't know if I want to tbh..

The gunplay was decent, the world had some interesting locations, but was mostly bland. The campaign was short and pretty easy.
Some DLC can only be obtained by buying "Rage Coins"...

Not awful, but not great.

Fun game to play, especially if you have friends interested in the era. Usually you can find a full server on the weekends.

Fallout 3 was my first Fallout game (I know, I know) I didn't have a PC at the time and didn't know much about the previous games.
I kind of liked it, but it was not until I played New Vegas that I became a Fallout fan. Since then I've played 1&2 and have enjoyed them as well.

I first played it on the 360 back in the day and loved it. Now on the PC it's nice to play it the way it was meant to be played.
