I am a huge D&D nerd, so naturally I fell in love with Baldur's Gate 3. After beating that game multiple times and playing with hundreds of mods, I felt like I squeezed all I could out of it. I wanted something new. I had known about Divinity for a while, but not known anything about it. When the summer sale came around and the 1st & 2nd game were bundled for $15, I decided to check it out.

At the time of this review, I have just beaten Divinity 2; and honestly, I think I love this game more than Baldur's Gate 3. There's just so much charm and intrigue filling this world, the story never felt like it dragged to me, and the combat plays so differently to D&D, it was just refreshing to me as someone who knows the mechanics of D&D inside and out. I especially love the elves, they're so weird and pretty.

This game is absolutely worth your money, and personally I can't wait to sink hundreds of hours into this game as well.
