Risk of Rain 2 mixed with Alan Wake/Control. The music and gameplay alone make this a must-play for roguelite enjoyers. The story is very compelling and has some dark themes, but ultimately is extremely satisfying once the game is finished.

Early Access Review
This game is what I wanted For The King to be. It has a similar grid-based movement system, but the game feels much further expanded due to the ARPG loot system and build diversity.

If you are waiting for a new ARPG and want a different taste from the standard spectrum of diablo clone, this is the game for you!

If you enjoyed Dusk, you will enjoy this game. It's a good game with gorgeous graphics and fun combat and, like other boomer shooters, it is filled with secrets to uncover.

Mad Max is a game in a fairly long list of movie tie-ins. Most of the time, these movie tie-in games are absolutely awful, with a few exceptions, Max Max included. There's nothing terribly in-depth about the game's mechanics. If you've played the Batman: Arkham series, you've had the combat. If you've played the Dirt series, you've had the driving.

That being said, it's a simple game, and it's very fun in its simplicity. The graphics are stunning, the landscapes are varied (as far as post-apocalyptic Australia goes), and you can plainly tell enemies apart, both in car, and on foot.
