I am a big fan of Yasumi Matsuno's work, and I think there is no better game to try out than Tactics Ogre, probably the best SRPG game money can buy.
The music is done very well, the voice acting, especially the English one has really been to my liking and the many new QoL changes that they have managed to put in under Matsuno's watch (even though he isn't working with SE anymore)

The only gripe i have is how the buff cards kind of clutter the playing field as well as how muddy the character sprites are.

If you are a fan/or have never played but are interested of Final Fantasy Tactics, this is a MUST play as this was the game that most of the key members have worked on before they did FFT.

This is coming from someone who has not beaten Malenia in the main file.

- This is a hard DLC (and it has every right to be!)
- This is probably the best DLC I have ever played
- This DLC will test your patience...even at higher levels.

I absolutely love how this DLC proves itself to be harder than what most of the base game has to offer.
Going into this and beating Mohg, after what seemed like what took forever, made me realize that this DLC was not going to be kind to people who haven't beaten the base game yet, and that is completely fine, it just means that there is more content and lore for people to find.
I do recommend that players do play as much of the basegame as possible before going into this since the bosses in this DLC have heavy poise. Some that remind me even of some of the bosses seen in DS2.

The OST and the scenery are the best that the game has to offer, though they reuse a few assets, the world is still vastly different from that of the base game and it's enemies.
The trailers also do not do justice on how vast this DLC is, which is a terrifying amount. That coupled with some hard enemies makes this easily a DLC that might double your playtime.

All and all the DLC is a great refreshing way to experience the unexplained lore in a satisfyingly difficult package.

Now I will go home and edge.
