I like the idea of this demo, i did hear about it a few years ago, but didnt follow its development.
Unreal engine 5, imo, is just unnecessary, not only due to it poor performance in this demo, but also due to its physics engine.
Perhaps its just placebo, but something kept feeling off whilst i interacted with the world around - It felt delayed, buggy and rough around the edges
I know that this is a demo, and all, but i feel as if sticking to source engine would've felt better, or atleast could've tried making the demo in source 2. Though remaking the whole project isnt gonna be well recieved, especially this far in.
Thank you for your preview of this fan game, but currently it needs way more polish

Dont be swayed by 1 single bot ban-wave, until proper changes can be seen over a long period of time, keep pushing.

That being said, this is a good start, but not enough for the sad state this game has been left in for the past 5-6 years.
