The game progression leaves much to be desired, typically with these types of games you work hard to earn things to allow you to have more free time for building or simply automation. The way this game tackles progression is unlocking new things that take non renewable resources that you have to dive into the ocean to collect. Like for example the electricity for some automation in midgame requires swapping out batteries that you need to constantly find the metals in the ocean to craft more batteries, later you need to instead collect sand and a new recipe to use with battery chargers, all existing batteries that run out of power also need to be juggled onto this new device, progression just adds busy work, although if you have enough time to find a trustworthy source of mods you could probably fix the progression complaints, shame there is no steam workshop mods. Also tree saplings are non renewable for some reason, kind of defeats the purpose for the tree planter boxes.

I feel like some intentional counterplay to the giants needs to be added but otherwise really fun with friends
