This DLC is definitely only for people who have played and finished the main game; it pulls no punches and throws you right into the fray. It is about 3.5 hours long, with a few bugs (as of writing). It is fairly expensive compared to the base game. It offers a new character to play, with a bunch of new skills and weapon types. You receive a staff and can summon spirits. There are (like in the base game) many secrets to be found. A few enemies are recycled from the base game, and a couple more added.

All in all, if you really enjoyed the base game, I'd still recommend you wait for a sale until it drops to at least 8 dollars (it is $14,50 as of writing this).

Painkiller/Doom (2016+) with souls-like and roguelike elements. 40 euros is a tad steep for the content that is in the game right now (in early access), but I enjoyed my time. If you enjoyed Doom, you'll enjoy this.
