It's a decent game. Get it on sale, or come back in a year when the developer might've hopefully recovered from their poor launch like they did their first two games. It might age like fine wine instead of sardines, who knows?

Early Access Review
"Zombies"?

What zombies?

All I see is a pile of dead animals and a bunch a' burning four-wheelers.
And my smoking sawed-off and my bloodied chainsaw.

Oh, you mean those green things I ran over a few hours ago?

They're attracted to sound?

Let them come, then. I have eighty more shells to get rid of.

Take this for granted, my time alone should say that,

But if Monty Python were to have a first person hack n' slash fighting game, it would be this game.

Undoubtedly.

Want to kill a Chaos warrior from Warhammer Fantasy as a halfling? Done. Warsword Conquest is the mod for you.

Want to raise Robb Stark to king of the Seven Kingdoms in Game of Thrones? Done. A Clash of Kings is the mod for you.

Want a brand new fantasy experience? Perisno, Prophesy of Pendor, even the base game, they're all good picks.

What you are let down by in the base game, a mod can probably fix. There is no limit to the amount of replayability in this game. Only your willingness to keep playing.

Napoleonic Wars is great too. Viking Conquest or With Fire and Sword if you want a loose story to it. They've got it.

And if you tell me this game isn't as good as it seems, look at Bannerlord and tell me that won't blow everyhing else out of the water with a straight face.

Taleworlds aside is one of the most open-hearted, generous, and insightful game companies I have ever seen. I would work for them in a heartbeat if they weren't based in Turkey. It really leaves you with a wholesome feeling after seeing how EA and Ubisoft continue to screw up things time and time again.

Hands down the best game I've ever gotten on Steam.
