It's very hard to describe my exact experience and thoughts about this game.

I live in a factory and farm town similar to, but not as small as Possum Springs. It even shares one of our biggest exports... Corn. I feel a strong connection to the themes and main character of this story. I was so engrossed in everything the game had to show.

Every feeling the characters here express feels so real, realer than any game I've ever played in my life. It's the best book I have ever read, or movie I have ever watched. Sometimes it feels like looking at a slightly exaggerated, cartoonish version of my hometown. I sometimes feel lost, too. Sometimes I'm not sure if what I'm doing is right. And sometimes, I don't know if I can handle life the way others seem to be able to... I just wish I could jump around on roofs and telephone wires, feed hungry rats, and play some terrible bass with my friends.

i honestly thought it was gonna be meh but i can tell a bunch of love was put into this fr. also, it says it uses ai for one of the monsters to imitate ur voice but it is so wrong lmao, its just microsoft sam (or whatever the hell text to speech thing its called) and it says dummy ass ♥♥♥♥

Although I think Rivals 1 is in a more "complete" state, I believe Rivals 2 is VERY good currently. A few people are complaining about the recent changes to shield (even though nobody liked how good shield was!), but honestly, it's a good change. At least for me.

THE GOOD:
Online is VERY GOOD, at least for me, I am in NA. Mileage may vary.

Game feels just as amazing as Rivals 1, although it is a BIT different (IMO sliiiightly slower and less free form combos) from 1, and I don't agree with some of the changes that were made. (removing drift di)

Tutorials are now added

Devs seem very active

I haven't experienced a single bug so far, other than a rare random crash. Oh, but there are quite a few annoying menu bugs.

THE PROBLEMS:
What the ♥♥♥♥, guys... NO ♥♥♥♥♥♥ custom skin palletes?! the first one had them... and honestly, the skins should be like 5 bucks less.

Less characters and stages than rivals 1 :( (will be fixed eventually, but smh)
also the stages dont have cool hazards at all. #bringbackcasualplay

So far the character editor seems pretty great, though I haven't used the 3d aspect very much at all. I only had one crash, which is like 10x less than I thought I was going to get!

THANKFULLY i didnt buy this game i got it for free but BASICALLY heres the rundown...

for some reason none of the options stick. and even when i put EVERYTHING on epic it looks like ♥♥♥♥! half the options do NOTHING for NO REASON!!!! it never EVER saves my choice, even when applying it REVERTS YOU! god, its horrible. and i mean, really, why is it poorly optimized? isnt this just default unreal engine 5 graphics or some ♥♥♥♥ and military asset flips?? thats what everyones said so i mean i really just assume it is at this point idk man. ideeeeek.


game is okay ig pretty standard ffa tdm defuse gamemodes. the gameplay is unique as you die in 1-2 shots.
there is a really really annoying occurrence where your gun will be pressing all up against a wall and you cant shoot or anything.
