Arrowhead is an amazing development team - all in-game purchases are either aesthetic or below average in power-level so its not pay to win. They listen to player feedback and have even been known to put their jobs on the line to support the community.

The Community is awesome - everyone fights, no one quits. There are hardcore RP-ers who really get into the Helldiver mindset, tacticians who help figure out the best course of action to complete major orders, and even quite a few musicians have struck up a tune or two for the cause.

The Publisher, Sony, recently walked back the absolute braindead demand people register with a PSN account - which would have rendered players in E.Europe, SE.Asia, Oceania, and parts of Lat.Am. unable to play the game they paid for. Thankfully, they listened to the players on this one. We can forgive - but we should never, ever forget.
