There is no way to deny that the title has lived through thousands of hours of account user gameplay. As a newcomer, and avid supporter of games built for fun, I am at heart an adventurer. The only thing I can see from this minuscule viewpoint is the lack of sustainable economy.
A quick fix for gold exploits is to allow the sale of any item for 1 gold each. One would only need a simple db search tool to quickly weed out any item being sold for more than 1 gold. Nothing makes sense to me until I can dump/delete/sell unwanted items from limited spaces.
The game is fun. There is not a single complaint about the title not being fun...so let's start with the basics of 'fun', and get this thing going in the right direction again.

First, I suggest newcomers watch some Gothic game play. Then, you are able to appreciate the difference in graphics and story. This Remake is rich in story and dialog, for those who can appreciate rpg. The clarity in speech is great. Characters have different personalities, just like the original. I really don't know what else to say...try it?

If you are about six years old, this game can be quite fun. Even with mobs falling through floors, attacking the base from ghost locations, and being invisible while mobs rank and file around your avatar.
The game is beautiful, don't get it twisted. However, I feel like being held by the hand to cross the street, or I am waiting for my grandma. Loot is mundane and unimaginable. I enjoy the base building, and bases you will build, but I want to hire a mule team to carry my junk from the rear to the front. Assuming there is a front, I find myself going around in circles, only to find what I was looking for at the point I started from....that's not the game, it's me. Well, I play it with my K, Pre-K kids and they love the mystery, the dark, and the creepy AI.

PvPvE retro-game that feeds you just enough to want to come back for more. Addictive and play to win.

Edited: The IdleTale is not a paywall/cashshop/PTW game. Is it 100%Idle? No, but you can make the most of your online and offline gains by carefully spending gold on what will help you progress.
The IdleTale has a steep hill to climb, if you want conquer...and you will want to conquer. The progression is not as grindy, and I feel progress on each logon. Make your coin, gear your avatar, complete the quests, and raise your skills to reach that apex of achievement.

This is a true Idler Game. You start with a seed and grow it into a fully automated entity. Run it in the background or Offline.

I purchased the game at 67% Off, and found it did not appeal to me. In spite of the ads and video, the real game is quite bright and colorful. However, it lacks guardrails for new players like me. There is no rhyme nor reason for me to do anything productive. I tried, but the complication multiplies even before you know the name of your character.

The character did not fit with the complexity of getting off ground zero. The vortex style land (let's call it that) is too squishy and missing a harvest results in a crater that get exponentially bigger the longer you miss. So...that's not good.
Unatural 'ASWD FG QWERTY ZXCVBN' key assignments...uses the mouse to turn left and right and not feeling that at all.

The vibe is good but taking one step made me feel instant buyers remorse. I will not refund because it's not my thing. Simplify the onset, match default keyboard to Chinese or America format, and do not make an excuse for the clunkiness on paper. Players are real people with bad habits, I get it. But, People/Players just don't have time to learn muscle memory anymore...times have changed.
