It's a really cool game that isn't afraid to be different, but I think people just aren't opening their minds up to it. I agree there are things that could be improved upon, but a really good game is here.

Kinda fun, but it is dragged down by way too many monetization systems and timegating. Mix that with the kernel-level anticheat that was added after launch (RIP Linux support) and the really bad talking animation, it's just not really worth playing it.

I've been playing since launch in 2016, so I understand where everyone is coming from. Even through all the bs though, it's still a top-tier hero shooter.

Blizzard bad, Overwatch good

If you add my demo playtime, I've probably played for about 5 hours so far. This is less a review and more so giving the devs recognition because they deserve a way better rating than "mixed".

I've loved the Relic Hunters universe for over a decade now. Relic Hunters Zero was one of the first Steam games I played after finally converting from console gamer to PC gamer. The gameplay and general vibe of Zero drew me in, and when Relic Hunters Legend was first announced, I was super excited.

I'm not sure what happened since it's been a couple years, but the closed beta didn't quite click with me. I never touched Legend again until I recently saw that it hit 1.0. I can confidently say whatever it was that didn't click with me back then is gone and replaced by a game I adore as much as the original. Thank you, Rogue Snail, for your dedication to making this game great!

It's very much a Hollow Knight game, but it's much harder than its predecessor. I had so much fun with Hollow Knight, and I feel like it had just the right amount of difficulty. I don't think that about Silksong. I want to love it, I'll keep playing it and try to make it further each time I do load it up, but I feel like the difficulty is way overtuned. Maybe it's such a struggle just because I'm still in the early game, but I honestly would rather just go back and play more Hollow Knight than get frustrated with the difficulty of Silksong.

The game is beautiful and Team Cherry really put their heart and soul into it, but I guess I'm just not good enough to fully enjoy it (something I know I'm not alone in).

Took me long enough to finally make the time to beat it, but boy was it worth it. A superbly designed Metroidvania that you definitely can't go wrong with.

A good-ish addition to the Cold Steel series. The overall story is meh until it gets towards the end, but the character development is pretty good in this game. It was cool to see the three arcs really starting to blend together, but it constantly teases you that you won't see any big names in this game, you gotta wait until CSIV. Overall, the game grew on me towards the end, but I wouldn't be surprised if this ended up being my least favorite Trails game.

*It's Trails though, so still a great game. One game has to be the worst though, and this might be it for me.

I got the true ending on Game Pass a while ago, but I had to immediately buy it on Steam once the dlc dropped so I could do it all over again and play the new content. This is by far the best non-From Software soulslike game out there.

This is a generation defining RPG. The masterpiece that is Clair Obscur is the new bar for this genre. The story, the combat, the characters, the environments, the music... all of it is top tier, and from such a small, but obviously very passionate, studio. This is already my clear pick for game of the year, if not game of the decade. Do yourself a favor and play this game, even if RPGs aren't normally your thing. This game is too good to pass up. GOTY 2025, hands down. Nothing came even close.

A fun, fast-paced tac-shooter with great maps, characters, and its signature mechanic: shard cards. In a very saturated hero shooter market, FragPunk manages to be fresh and polished enough to stand out, and hopefully that compels people to stick around and make this game last.
