Good game, would have been nice to have a bit more jumpscares, but overall the story was really good.
Spoilers: Was afraid it was another trope of maincharacter killing off his family psychosis, it was nice it wasn't the case at all! Well not in the way expected

Graphics, fantastic. I did have some weird glitching happening, but seemed the bloom effect was causing that for me, as soon as I turned that off the game worked flawlessly.

Not too difficult, still have to think here and there, but not super easy either.
Awesome game, will recommend it!

Holds up well for a 2014 game!

Love this one, the story and the cases were so good. Sadly I did mess up a fair amount here and there. The voice acting, the graphics, everything is just so good! I was sad it ended!

Expected more, especially for the pricing (I'd label this more towards the 3-5 euro mark, definately not almost 10). I know it's early acces, but it's a steep price imo. Hope for more in the future since it is in early acces.

Every time when something was crawling, you could expect something to jumpscare you. It got a little bit predictable.
Game looks good though. Actually looks pretty realistic, the camera sounds etc are good. The sound design is really well done as well.

I would have chosen a neutral rating, but sadly it was between recommending or not. I chose the latter, purely for the price point I made.

Sadly I already finished it. I never managed to figure out how to use the Stauff coins though. It felt like my board didn't want to use the help/ progression part, but that might be on my end. I only struggled with the piano puzzle. Every other puzzle was not too easy, but also not too hard to solve. It was the good mix of puzzles.

Lots of fun, lots of nostalgia. Thank you so much for remaking this. The acting/ voice acting and everything brought me back to 30 years ago. Stepping in the hallway for the first time made me emotional being hit by the nostalgia bat.

Truly sad to give the review I'm about to give.

I was very disappointed after playing the game. The demo was the good part which was a repeat in this game. The rest was okay.
The one thing that was extremely frustrating was the photo "puzzle". I like the idea behind it, but it was so badly executed. Spend way too much time on it, even after watching someone solving it (after they had almost an hour worth of visible frustration/ agitation on it too).

If you did it wrong, you had to run _all_ the way back to get the picture again and then hope you'd have it correct the next time. I'd recommend fixing this part. Put the photos in the inventory to be easily accessed, if you used the photos correctly make them disappear or something. That would take away 80% of the aggravation as well as the time wasted on it away. Perhaps a visual guideline or make it easier to place the parts.

Graphics are good, puzzles are ok (apart from the photo one that one's awful), price is too expensive for what it offers. Unless there's plans for free DLC's or so. As stated the Demo basically entailed the first part of the game and the only reason why you spend more then 60 minutes on the game is because of the photopuzzle alone.

I see Indie games as a small cinema/ movie kind of thing, but this one is just too much for its pricing sadly. Genuinely sad as I was really looking forward to this game.

Keep at it though. The basis is there, the story was pretty decent, although confusing. But I do think there's potentional.

Short, but it did a good job scaring!

For an old game it still holds up niceley. However some of the things you have to do are not always clear (or which items to pick up etc).

All in all, really enjoyed it!

Gave it another shot, the last time it sadly hadn't changed my point of view on it. However with the 15th of june update it did. There are still some minor bugs here and there (screwdriver/ keys/ certain doors not opening when they should), but all of it was possible to be solved by reloading the save or restarting the game and continueing again.

Story is ok, Graphics are good. Scares are also pretty good. Puzzles are not that great (especially the number ones sometimes made zero sense - cellar door one, as well as the cabinet code) At its current state I would however recommend it for sure. And again anything buggy? Just reload your last save file worked wonders.

Refunded it. I can't even get past the intro screen without it lagging tremendously. Other games run fine. Even with the lowest settings selected it doesn't work (which also gave a red screen that was only fixable by going up one graphic setting).

I don't know what engine is used for this, but it's pretty trash. Kinda sad because the demo was really good and I was looking forward playing the game. I had no issues with the demo when it came out.
