So I know this game doesn't necessarily push the bounds of game design - in fact one could argue that the story isn't all that original either - but it does give an interesting twist to a familiar tail tale. The reason this game stands out and the reason why I love it is because it combines story, puzzle solving and ridiculously silly humour involving an over-abundance of canine puns. It's just plain fun. Definitely worth your cash monies.

Just play it, okay? Trust me on this. You'll enjoy it. It's epic and funny and there are sarcastic, british narrators involved. Hilarity ensues and believe me, the fun will never end.

Well this is just awesomely hilarious. You are a purple goat who has been imprisoned for witchcraft. There are magic hats involved. Need I say more?

Another great game by Double Fine! Loved the style, the story, the mechanics and the puzzles. One warning: be prepared for cutscenes. XD

Not really worth the money, to be honest. Have my gift copy instead.

No! I didn't buy it twice because I thought it was good! Why on earth would you thing that? Don't be silly...

So I don't want to be mean, but if you haven't heard of the greatness of Portal, you've been living under a rock. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that I'd be impressed by your ignorance if you have a Steam account and haven't heard of Portal. That's dedication to not knowing things, and I salute you for that sir. At any rate, it's like, a game or something. You know, you play it. Things happen. Yeah. Did somebody mention a gold standard of gaming somewhere? Probably.

Adoration. That is what this game gets from me. You should adore it too. Seriously. Do it. The only other games that I can think of that come close to game-play/mechanics to this one are (the) Portal(s) and The Bridge. Non euclidean space is the best kind of space. :D
It's a first person shooter puzzle game like Portal, but much less linear. In fact, it's pretty much as far from linear as you can get. It's also exploration based, so there isn't really a storyline, but then that's not really what the game is about. It has a higher purpose than storytelling. :D
Also the soundtrack is really beautiful.

If you love space, this game is for you. It is sooooooo cool! It's basically an editable universe simulator. So it's got all the preset simulations; the solar systems, galaxies, constelations, one with a bowling ball in it, the Earth & moon, the planets and some other ones that have names that I don't understand and haven't actually looked at yet. BUT It also lets you create YOUR OWN UNIVERSE. THAT'S RIGHT. YOUR Universe. No-one else's. Yours. YOU, my friend, can be Master of the Universe*! You know it's secretly what you've always wanted. :D

* The one you've created of course. Not this one. This one is mine.

I loved this game so much I bought it again on steam (when I already owened a copy from when it first came out) just to try and get the achievements! So much fun, goo and quirky humour ALL IN ONE GAME! :D

So I think I have to recommend this game. If not because of the enjoyment, then because it's as addictive as it is infuriating! And hilarious, really. Apparently you can conduct a brain surgery in an ambulance with a fire hydrant and a scalpel - who knew? XD
