I love this game, but I hate what Namco is doing to it.

Edit: They rectified the mistake. While this should've never happened, it's good that they were willing to listen to the community and add the stage to the Season 1 pass. Here's hoping they don't try anything like this again.

If you had asked me what I thought of this game the first few times I played it, I would've said it was cool, but frustrating. I was a fool back then. This game is honestly equal parts fun, scary, and tense. I initially put the game down because of my frustrations, but recently picked it back up because I was discussing it with a friend and I wanted to give it another go. It's honestly not too long; a lot of my time in it was spent hiding because I had no clue what I was doing, but after getting settled with the game's mechanics, it's a really good horror game. It genuinely scared me multiple times, and not to brag, but it's pretty hard to scare me. I highly recommend this game if you like horror games like I do. Really glad I invested the time to beat this game.

I love this game. This must've been my 6th or 7th playthrough, and I imagine I'm gonna have many many more before I die. Everything about this game is amazing, from the gameplay to the story to the music to the sound effects to the textures on the cardboard box, it all captivates me in a way no other game has. I constantly find myself sinking more time into a session of this game than I intend, and no other game does that to me. If you have not played this game yet, play it. It's so good, and you can play it without needing to know anything else about the series. There's a reason this is my favorite game of all time, and I don't see it being topped by any other games any time soon.

AS FOR THE PORT ITSELF, it's alright.

This game is really solid. For me, though, it definitely falls off around the end and becomes more annoying than scary or fun, but I'd still recommend it even with that.

a fun ride through and through. though I wouldn't call it open world, it was on rails the whole time.

played through it with a friend. beginning half was pretty fun. everything after that slowly went downhill. definitely better co-op games out there, but not half bad for what it was. get it on sale if you and a buddy wanna give it a go.
