Best played Co-op just make sure your party member isnt a murder hobo

This game will most likely turn into my most played game of all time and for good reason! I've never really been a fan of MOBAs which this game is likened too but isn't really. This game is an Arena Brawler, take the laning; farming; and item buying/crafting out of a MOBA and you're left with Battlerite. A highly skill intensive game that only cares about 2 things, Team fights and Orb control. Matches take from 5 to 15 minutes on average not the usual MOBA 45 to 60mins so you can easily play a few matches in an hour.

Sidenote: Be prepared to lose at this game to begin with. There is a lot to learn and a lot of newer players like to blame bad game design or OP champs for their losses but this simply is not the case. Every champ is for the most part balanced, every team composition is viable. Play a few matches vs bots or in casual with a champ you like and then go straight to League mode! Casual has no real MMR and if you want fair games where you can actually learn to play then go straight to league!!!!!!! To learn the basics take a look at:

Killed by Bronto, respawned in random location... turned out to be the floor of someones dino pen. Couldnt move. Tried attacking the dinos to see if they would kill me, needless to say they couldnt hit me. Tried punching the structure in a futile attempt to die by punching.

There was no other way... I had to do it... I ate the faeces of dinosaurs and my own... There wasn't enough of it... It took 10 minutes to die by eating poop. FML

1000000000000000/10 would experience faecal digestion again.

I've clocked about 18 hours into this game, I've reached lvl 11 and I'm currently around 300 - 500 elo depending on my luck. I'd probably be higher up if I didnt keep changing decks xD But anyway to the review! I like the resource system so theres no way of getting mana screwed like in MTG and the battle grid gives a lot of tactical gameplay as you can sweep attack, charge and evade while using spells to affect rows and columns. The card art is very good as well and I never feel like I'm hopelessly outmatched when on PvP. Admittedly I sometimes don't win because I don't get the cards I need to win when I should of won but thats because I overfill my deck sometimes and thats noones fault but my own. All in all I prefer this game alot more to MTG which I played for about 3 years on and off but I can't get enough of this game!

I'd give it a solid 8/10. The only way to improve it IMHO is to open a trade function between players but then the whole wildcard system would be defunct and I like to buy a pack or box when I can to support the developers.
