Early Access Review
Great city builder that requires quite a lot of planning and initial micromanagement when you set things up. That's not a bad thing though. It's a game about centrally planned economy after all, that's the entire point of it.
Lot of different industries to set up that can be interconnected with other industries if you want them to be effective. That also requires planning out transport infrastructure (trucks, trains, ships, helicopters, planes) to support all your industry.

Lot of places where your planning can go wrong and your citizens will suffer, starve, freeze and try to flee to western countries en masse. Again, very realistic for centrally planned economy. If that scares you there's a lot of customization for difficulty options - individual game systems can be tuned down or turned off completely for learning purposes. Over time I suggest to turn them back on again. When you figure out how they work having them all on makes the game really good.

Ultimately you should try plaing in "realistic" mode where every road and every buildings needs to be manually built by your citizens - you have to get the required building materials and transport them to the building site. Then bring the workers and required machinery to actually build the thing. It slows the game and adds another layer of complexity to your planning, e.g. renovating/rebuilding a road means it's going to be closed for some time. Do you have alternate routes prepared or will you starve your vital heating plant from necessary coal that's now stuck in traffic? Maybe it would be better to start the renovation in summer when heating is not necessary?

Game has not so good tutorials though so be ready to figure stuff on your own or read/watch some guides on the internet.

Disclaimer: I've spend most of my time playing this game in standalone launcher so my hour-count is way higher in reality.
It's not perfect but it's best modern air combat sim out there. If you don't care about graphics and just want to fly F-16 then go to BMS, but if you want to fly with something else in beautiful environment using mission created in provided in-game mission editor then DCS is your best bet.

Don't be scared by amount and price of DLCs. Those are not required for you to have fun in the game. Each DLC gives you access to additional machine (or several in case of Flaming Cliffs 3 and upcoming MAC). Each machine you buy will give you hundred hours of learning, flying and blowing stuff up. And you don't have to master all of them. Just pick those that feel interesting to you (after you're done with free ones). It's not War Thunder where you have to have everything. ;)

You may also want to check out community made free DLC in form of A-4E module. It's great (and free, so double great).

I liked main game but this expansion is not worth it. Extremely dull story that's actually bugged so you can lock yourself from certain parts of quests. Only *somewhat* good thing about the expansion are companion quests. I believe those should be included in main game anyway and they are not good enough to justify full price for the expansion.
My recommendation: skip it or buy it if it is on discount bigger than 90%.

Great game if you like scavenging and inventory management because you'll be able to loot lots of stuff and then put that stuff in many different pockets. Do you want to keep that precious rock in your pants? You could keep it in your training hoodie. Or maybe in a shopping bag. Ok, shopping bag it is. But how do you want to hold that shopping bag? In your hand? Other hand? Maybe on your shoulder?

Oh, and you'll die a lot so don't get attached to that shopping bag.
