I've played games like this for most of my life (on and off) starting at Simcity and its versions, Cities XL and now Cities Skylines. This is a great game. While slightly light on the economy side, there is plenty to manage and really my favourite elements are the flexibility, freedom, mods and community engagement. For me this is a great game whose developers have opened the floodgates for the community to generate amazing mods and assets, to make it even easier to make the game your own.
