What Overwatch should have become

Played the game while in beta, came back 7y later still the same but with a battle pass and packs of skins

This year I first through Neon Abyss would be the best inde game of the year but then : HADES came out
Not only the best inde game of the year but also one if not the best game of the year.
Perfect in every domains :
- Insane Musics (Super Giant Games ...)
- Insane art
- Insane gameplay : dynamic/edgy, strategic (items and choices), etc
- Insane story father/son relationship with an atypical settings, we don't see greek gods described this way everyday

The only flaw that comes to my mind is the quality 3D models, too 'smooth' which isn't a big deal, but at the level of insanity such a little stain is noticable.

Probably the best inde game so far this year and the best rogue like since Isaac.
If you abstain from Jack (one of the familiars) this game is awesome, it has very good mechanics and gameplay, full of neat ideas, it seems to be updates pretty often the devs seem very active.

There are stil 2 cons in my opinion :

- a lack of interaction with the familiars (there are some items that make you deal more damage the more familiars you have) but I think the game needs a mechanic like doors that open with a number of eggs or a mechanic where you could kill your own familiars for exemple a sacrifice altar that reward you with random consumables. It'll add decision making, a way to get rid of troublesomes familiars or a way to save your run when the game only give you eggs.

EDIT: most of the cons are now fixed with the last update, which show how invest the dev are with this game
- a lack of goals, once you killed all the target the only thing left to do is to complete all the unlockable trees which is an important part of the game but doing this I miss the feeling that I'm accomplishing something and in the end it's just getting boring. Even if this last problem will surely be fixed for the moment it is still the biggest problem of the game

However this game well worth its price especially considering that the game was released a week ago and that updates will surely correct the few cons (it really has a lot of lacquering potential to me and could be an even greater game)

This is not bad in fact the game is pretty good with nice and pretty cool gameplay ideas but in the end the game is boring, with only 4 hours I already feel like I've seen everything the game have to show and I can't find the motivation the launch the game one more time.

This game have a lot of potential but for the moment it's not worth the 20$ and it need new content and actually I think it need a lot of new content to make the game worth the price.

PS : the graphics are super neat which is one of the greatest strengths of the game
