This is the perfect indie game. It came out of nowhere, I bought it on a whim, and the atmosphere sucked me in. It's the type of game that's so enjoyable I did not want to even look up how to continue when I was stuck, because I didn't want anything to be spoiled. My first playthrough felt unique to my playstyle, and once I beat the game and realized there are so many more companions than what I actually played with, I knew that I would come back to do different routes with different party members. The whole experience really reminded me why I like video games to begin with. Soundtrack is excellent, every floor of the apartment is filled to the brim with content in every nook and cranny. It all feels like a dense box of existential horror combined with a surprisingly cozy atmosphere, when you feel safe.

Rogue-like city builder.

It's a bit of a stretch but that is how I see it. Beautiful game. Get attached to an island, grow it up, then take a screenshot and head off to the next frontier. Really fun gameplay loop to listen to podcasts and chill to.

The game has too much. If I were to rate the first 30 hours of the game, it would be an easy 10/10. If I were to rate the game after 100 hours, I would rate it a 9/10, in the context that it has a bunch of 10/10 games within it. It really depends on how you would measure polished content and experience for the pure amount of content you can experience out of it. I have played so much so far with only one playstyle and still enjoyed it, yet there are boundless ways to enjoy it. In that sense, it is a potential 11/10. How on earth do you process something like this? It's too much.

This game is a great little visually appealing strategy game that I keep coming back to. Highly recommend it.

Was not expecting a sequel for this series, and am very happy to find out Grow Up was made.

If you liked Grow Home in the slightest, Grow Up is a worthy sequel. At the 9.99 price point, it is essentially an excellent level 2 to a series that I hope continues.

Playtime is aproximately 5 hours for the main objective, but I'm already at 7 exploring the optional quests.

Make sure you play it in true 1080p, the biggest flaw in the PC version of the game being that it does not display at true 1080p without mods.

Other than that, a new contender of one of the best games of all time. The difficulty tells you where you should proceed, the story is explained through the action and items you collect, allowing you to theorize and construct your own ideas as you play along.

The combat is so harsh yet fair it feels incredibly satisfying to learn the proper techniques to defeat the many different enemies you encounter.

I can easily call this game a 10/10 without exaggeration. It is worth the investment of your time no matter how daunting it may appear.

7 hour campaign of hack n slash combat in a colourful environment. Nice music, nice narrator, just enough freedom and customization to always keep things interesting and personal. Highly recommended.

I still play this game when a new album is released and I want to listen to it from start to finish. Gives you a focus on the music so you can appreciate it while you listen to it.

I couldn't play this game alone. In fact I'm pretty sure my friend completed most of it for me.

It's scary.

One of the best single-player third person action games to start the 2010's. Narrative, gameplay and atmosphere are top of the line. Not particularily scary, but might spook you once or twice. Use a controller, relax and play.

Not an incredibly deep game gameplay wise, but it does make up for it with interesting environments and utilizing the mechanics of the game properly. Stuff does what it is supposed to do. Very rarely will you feel like you died because of bad design.
